Version 1.0
Initial Release
While the Dwemer mostly worked in the metal that nowadays bears their name, they crafted some of their animumculi and gear with ebony instead. This mod brings ebony-crafted armor, weapons, enemies, clutter, and containers into the world of Skyrim. Ebon Dwarven armor and weapons are comparable to regular ebony gear in terms of stats. They can be found in many places where ebony can be found, starting at the same level. They can be crafted at forges using ebony ingots and dwarven metal ingots once both Dwarven Smithing and Ebony Smithing have been unlocked, found under the Dwarven category. Tempering requires an ebony ingot, with the Dwarven Smithing perk making tempering twice as effective. Master animumculi (the strongest versions of each of the regular dwarven animunculi enemies) are now clad in ebony instead of regular dwarven metal; their stats remain unchanged. Ebony dwemer metal scrap parts can be found mostly on aforementioned animunculi, and some can be deconstructed at a smelter into ebony ingots. Some of the dwarven containers are now made of ebony instead of dwarven metal; their loot remains unchanged.
[COMPATIBILITY & CONFLICTS]
This mod will conflict with any other mod that adjusts leveled lists where dwarven items appear in and mods that make changes to the strongest versions of each of the steam animunculi. It also makes a few changes to some cells (mostly dwarven ruins). I suggest using xEdit for patching.
