I'm not sure how, but this somehow interferes with SDA. I wasn't getting any commentary from her on the MQ or A Night to Remember, and uninstalling this fixed it. I saw no conflicts in xEdit, but perhaps the "no wandering around" feature was the issue? I don't know, and it's too bad, because I liked her summoning gargoyles
Thanks for the report. My mod should not be interfering with her comments, but if uninstalling it solves the problem, then it may not match any of the Conditions set in SDA. Maybe you can fix it by removing the following changes made in my mod to prevent free actions. Package > DLC1NPCSandboxAroundPlayer600 (02003BC1)
The best part, for me, about this mod is the sneaking aspect. I gotta have that. But I also want the combat part of Queen of the Damned https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16815 because my game is so hard. Does anyone know if these two mods might play well together given a little patchwork. And what would I need to do to get it to work in xEdit? I don’t want to have to choose between these two mods. Thank you!
Turns out Queen of the Damned and Serene Serana can work together as this mod does what it does with a leveling script without altering the NPC record of Serana. Make sure you forward any Serana looks replacer that alters facegen into QotD. So load Serene Serana 1st followed by QotD.
QotD already has removed zombie spells so you can delete the Zombie Spell from Serene Serana .esp. In QotD's .esp, you can delete the 3 references to the Gargoyle spell from Serana's NPC record because Serene Serana has the superior method of Gargoyle spell. Doing it this way will still allow Valerica to cast Gargoyle as long as no other Gargoyle reference is deleted.
If you are an SDA player, removing the 'Package > DLC1NPCSandboxAroundPlayer600 (02003BC1)' from Serene Serana .esp is a good idea to make sure quests trigger for sandbox dialogue.
Done. Now you get the sneaking, thunderbolt, gargoyle goodness from Serene Serana while getting her stompy combat and defensive abilities from Queen of the Damned.
I always hated having Serana as a follower because of her constant pacing, even after using Nether Follower mod to not allow sandboxing. ALL other followers stand still when sandboxing was not allowed except for Serana. This drove me mad when trying to have a conversation with quest NPCs.
Not sure how this mod flew under the radar considering how popular Serana. I'm enjoying having Serana as a follower for the first time after hundreds of hours and dozens of playthroughs. One of the best QOL mods you can download for Serana. We need more of these types of mods instead of the millionth replacer.
Endorsed. If you read this, big thanks for making this mod!
Using this with FCO, AFT, AA, Serana Re-Imagined and Serana Shut-up. This is what I have been waiting for for...ever.:D Now my Fav Companion is complete! Thank you and accept a Endorsement. This is an excellent Mod.
Hi there, really love the feature since she summons gargoyles now instead of leaving ash piles everywhere . However, is this compatible with Nehter's Follower's Framework (NFF)?
Does this fix the "stuck in the sneaking mode" bug? I am using this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36674) at the moment to fix that bug but the mod itself has introduced a few "known" bugs of its own. I would like to try this but I'm afraid using it alongside this mod would cause compatibility problems...
No, my mod does not fix that bug. I can get it back from that bug, but I haven't found a way to "detect" that it's happening. I checked SIF and there were no script conflicts. My mod is simple to build, so you may try to load my mod before and SIF after.
Just a note to say - hey, this was pretty cool. She no longer attacks until I'm in danger and having gargoyles instead of zombies is a bit ... more realistic? I dunno, I just like it. And the fact that it plays nice with my other mods.

Even if this mod doesn't become famous, I'm glad I published it just to get such a comment.
Thanks for your comments.
