Ooh ooh, I love the badass belted-vest look of this! I've never seen this armor before, likely because I never play male characters, but it's, to use an outdated term, pretty rad! Thank you for your conversions. Some male armors are too cool for just the dudes to have.
There are only two sets of armor actually implemented in the original mod, although there are partial meshes for a third in the file. I believe Eferas has/had intentions to possibly add a third set someday, and the meshes listed as Tier3 are probably wips relating to that. If/when they ever update the mod to finish and include the third set, I will add those to the patch.
Oh thank you! tbh I'm not positive which mod that particular hair is from because I have several hair mods installed, but I'm pretty sure it's from HolidayGift Hairdos which --WARNING!-- is hosted on an extremely nsfw site. I love the hairs I got from it though, so it was totally worth making an account to download imo! If you compact the Form IDs before you start playing with it, you can flag HG as a light plugin too so it won't even take up a load order slot. I highly recommend it, even if it turns out that specific hair is from a different mod (it might be KS Hairdos SSE or ApachiiSkyHair SSE).
Just want to say that I really appreciate the conversion! Looks really good on female characters. Unfortunately, I've found a bug(?) where it causes the male version to show a neck gap. I've tested with the mod enabled and disabled, so I'm fairly certain this is what's causing it. Otherwise, great work!
That is strange, because there's no way this mod should be affecting the male version of the armor. I didn't touch those meshes, and this file only contains the female ones anyway. I'm not saying you're wrong; I'm just saying I have NO idea how that could possibly happen. Sorry! If you (or anyone) figure anything else out, please let me know!
You made some mistakes in the plugin file (checked in xEdit). You've disabled weight slider when both your female meshes and the original male meshes both seem to support it.
Additionally, this one I'm not sure if it's an issue, but pretty much all armor addon files I've looked at ever always point to the max weight file (_1) rather than the min weight file (_0). Yours point to the min weight, which I've amended in my own edited plugin. Again, not sure if this is actually an issue.
Thanks! Not sure how I mucked the weight-sliding up, but I will upload a fix shortly! As to the armor, it looks like the base game sometimes points to the max weight and sometimes to the minimum so that isn't likely to be an issue, but since it points to the max most of the time I've changed that too for consistency, because it's not like it could hurt anything so why not?
This is amazing. Was waiting for a female version from the original mod author cause I like to play as a female Dragonborn and it would look amazing on Arissa so thanks for this mod. Also are you planning on doing the Duelist Longcoats? I think a female version would look amazing.
Do you know with the gauntlets if all the info is in this mod or if it pulls from the vanilla data for the imperial light gauntlets? I ask because I have a replacer for the Imperial armor, and it might cause this mod to not work.
...or is the mod just the shirt and pants, and not the gauntlets and boots?
The mod contains three meshes: the shirt/pants armor, the boots, and the gauntlets (two color variations for each set). I don't think it pulls any data from the Imperial Light Gauntlets, or anything else; I think it's fully stand-alone. All this patch does is adds a female version of the armor since it was originally built for male-shaped bodies only. I didn't change anything about the way it's set up so whatever the original does, this one does too. Try asking there, Eferas might have a better answer for you!
