I have found an issue within the LOTD Safehouse and Cathedral 3D Mountain flowers, more specifically the Yellow 3D mountain flowers. Now I'm not sure if it has something to do with LOTD specifically it could just be an issue with the Cathedral 3d Mountain flowers texture path itself. Now I have downloaded and installed this patch (Legacy of The Dragonborn - Cathedral 3D Mountains Flower Patch) which works for the specific area in the East Hall. But when either planting the Yellow mountain flower in The Gallery of Natural Science or looking at the Yellow Mountain flower decoration in the Safehouse Main bedroom I get this: 3D Yellow Mountain Flower

They're beautiful, very well made. Anyway, i love all your 3D plants and got them all.

Still for my own, i would love a more desaturated and bit downscaled version of these mountain-flowers. Would fit better in my actual game.
But that's just my little grain of salt and idea.

Like said, these 3D plants are all wonderful ! Thanks making and sharing them !

This is a superb work. Congratulations A+.
You put yourself in high standards when you create mods like this one. The sons of my grandkids will be playing this game and probably using it. Perhaps that's the intangible reward to be harvested in our lifetime, immortality ☯︎

Wonderful mod, unfortunately it seems that the Red and White mountain flower type has no Snow variant.

This is a general comment for anyone else here who sees it, I'm going to make a Seasons of Skyrim patch for all of these 3D flowers, so that will be fixed when I get there.

Hello! I made snowy textures for the red and white flowers and also new yellow flowers. Feel free to use them for your Seasons patch. (I myself am currently making a seasons flora consistency mod with tons of new textures but the scope is way larger than just mountain flowers, so I doubt your patch will be made redundant in the future.)

floramountainflower01red.nif and floramountainflower01redSnow.nif are exactly the same file with different names.
So floramountainflower01redSnow.nif doesn't use the Columbine_RedSnow.dds texture which is included in the archive.
It goes without saying that they look identical in game.
It might be intentional so I'm not posting in bug reports, but it seems a bit odd.

I don’t think the red flowers grow anywhere snowy. Need to check the esm

They might not, but using Cathedral Flowers with mods that add mountain flower objects in snowy areas is slightly awkward when they're alongside other actually snowy variants.

Edit: I just checked the .nif files and they seem fine? The texture pathing seems correct but they show up in-game as normal instead of snowy. Maybe I don't understand this stuff well enough

Maybe I didn't explain myself well.
I simply meant that the texture path in floramountainflower01redSnow.nif should be changed to Columbine_RedSnow.dds instead of the current Columbine_Red.dds -- then you'll see snowy red "flower01s", too.
Anyway, it's only used in 41 references -- no big deal.

Ah 41 references is enough. Fix incoming.

What exactly is the fix for this issue?
When I use Seasons of Skyrim SKSE, during the winter the red flowers remain in their normal (summer) form. Maybe the base game doesn't place with snowy red flowers but mods like these can use them. Also, the mod Seasonal Landscapes already uses the flowers from this mod and they don't change either(they are the same).

I just checked and the floramountainflower01redSnow.nif still uses the non-snowy texture, although the ...02redsnow.nif uses the correct texture. Seasons of Skyrim is likely swapping the object correctly, it's just that it looks identical to the summer version.

Easy fix is to download the "red only" file from my mod and delete the textures folder from it to keep the full-red color you already have.

so i have placed this as a bug report but i just want to put it here too to see if anyone may know (im currently regenerating my dyndolod without this mod to see if it will solve it
so i have noticed a problem when using this mod and dyndolod and I'm not sure what's conflicting

from a slight distance the flowers seem to be odd blocky objects  before getting closer and returning to normal however its quite annoying seeing them pop in would anyone know what could be doing it and or a fix

Can you please remove the bug report? It’s not a fault of this mod. You’ve generated a LOD object for a different model of mountain flower.

Amazing work with the meshes, thank you for your work DrJacopo. I was wondering if anyone would know if it's possible to animate this flowers from cathedral with a wind blowing effect. As it is, this are the only plants that don't have a wind animation in my game, so while all of my grass mods and trees react to the wind, this meshes don't, and they kind of stick out being static.

They’re definitely not static. The stems are static but not the leaves or flowers. Animated 3D stems will look heinous. You can try the original version and you will see
