Version 2.0 (ESPFE) available! I've decided to convert all my mods to ESPFE (ESL-flagged ESP) versions wherever possible. This means these mods will no longer take up a slot in your load order. Please follow the instructions below if you wish to update during a running game. If you're starting a new game, just install and enjoy.
I've also decided to only offer BSA versions from now on. If you need or want a version with loose files, download the Bethesda Archive Extractor and just extract the files from the BSA.
To update during a running game:
While in the game, create a Full Save (Not a Quick Save).
Quit your game to desktop.
Disable the old version of the Maelstrom Jocelyn Makeover in your mod manager.
Restart your game.
The game will tell you that the Maelstrom Jocelyn OP Makeover.esp is missing and ask if you wish to continue. Just hit Enter (should automatically be on Yes).
Create another Full Save (NOT a Quick Save).
Quit the game to desktop.
Enable the new version of the Maelstrom Jocelyn Makeover.
In this newest release, I've uploaded two versions. In the one version, KS Hairdos is no longer a requirement because the Sky201 hairstyle was added to the mod. The version without the KS Hairdos (Female) requirement can't be flagged as ESL. The second version is already flagged as ESL but requires KS Hairdos (Female version).
If Jocelyn is killed during the quest (drowns), I've added the makeover version as a template to her demonized form so the two are at least similar.
I've uploaded the initial version of this makeover. For those who are interested, the clothing Jocelyn is wearing in the images is the red huntress skirt and thigh high boots from the "zzjay's Wardrobe - SSE CBBE BodySlide" mod. Her body form is my personal version of the CBBE Fetish model, her skin is the Bijin Skin, and her hair is the Sky201 style from the KS Hairdos mod. Here are the links to these mods:
i have been away from skyrim modding for a few years, so i have one question, why was the original mod taken down from the nexus?
there is always some kind of drama on this site and you never know why some mods are taken down. btw, thanks for the link to LL, otherwise i wouldn't know where to look, i tried doing a search and all searches kept going to the nexus for some reason, luckily i found your mod that linked to the actual mod so thanks for that.
this update has made your mod esl incapable, would be great if you could fix this, or leave the old version up also, i love your overhaul though, she looks way better thanks
Yes, for some reason, if you add the KS Hairdos so that is no longer a requirement, you can no longer flag it as ESL. Not sure why that is. I'll put the old version back up.
I decided to upload a second version instead of the old one. The second version is already flagged as ESL but has KS Hairdos as a requirement. Hope that works for you.
Just finished the Maelstrom Quest and kept Jocelyn as a follower. Thought I'd upgrade her appearance with your mod. AAAAHHHH! Blackface! Any thoughts as to what may be the cause? Thanks!
For some reason, the CK put the facegen data in the original Maelstrom mod instead of in my mod. No idea why it does that. And yes, I forgot to put the character folder in the meshes/actors folder. The reason it worked for me is because, like I said, the CK put the newly generated facegen data in the correct folders in the original mod. Really sorry for the inconvenience. I'll get a new version out asap.
