Added Prisoner Cart Fix Improved textures and UV maps Updated Touring Carriages patch to include all new improvements Added dbbrokencart01.nif (now all carriages models have been improved)
this mods need to be a hard requirement for all new mods list . @wizkid , i dl some few of your mesh mods but this one its the most life saver mod , just with this mod i get rid finally with this hellish bug when we start a new game , our carriage like flying with this crazy horse being drunk with our over heavy loaded mods xD
as a newbie on modding skyrim (only over 800 mods ) , finally one to get better visual and get rid of bug i notice since i use this mods getting , better stable/performance on the opening intro
may be it'll be great to add this mod on your helpfull Wizkid patch Compenium , at least new user starting modding skyrim know there's an easy way to fix the bug intro ( in my case it was by luck after 15 days i found out this mod )
I use Ruins Clutter Improved, SMIM, and Unofficial Material Fix and I put your mod in the highest priority over the said mods and I get a purple texture carriage in Helgen(during & post alduin event).
Hi wizkid34. The error does seem to be in your mod, not a conflict. You have the cartfurnstatic01.nif pointing to textures\smim\chains\metalwork01_gray.dds and textures\smim\chains\metalwork01_gray_n.dds. These texture files are not provided with your mod, so we get purple from missing textures if we don't use SMIM.
Happens as soon as you get control of your character, turn your camera to the right and, OH! Purple carriage on the ground! It's just the destroyed carriage for me, so maybe AE pulls from a different file for that particular skin?
MinionMaster only the metal ring is pointing to textures\smim\chains\metalwork01_gray.dds, not the whole carriage but I'll provide that texture for non SMIM users with the next update
I can second this. So far only the Helgen burnt cart seems to have purple texture after the update. Previous version did not have this. Here's the details: Cart and mesh reference
Hello wizz! Do you happen to know what is causing and if it can be fixed? Carriage at intro is moving too fast, you fixed wheels but now i arrive at destination too fast and dialogue no longer matches. Game is limited to 60fps
For some reason this just causes the prisoner carriage to climb up and over the mountains, which seems to trigger all the guards killing each other? so the kart arrives correctly but everyone's dead in the intro except for some villagers
That is normal Skyrim shenanigan's, I recommend using Skyrim Unbound to avoid opening quest. With or without this mod that bug is a 50% chance of happening. Last time I played the intro quest that bug happened to the carriage in front of me but not mine for a nice change of pace. Every once in a while an animal also causes a massive carriage pile up. :P
I use a conversion of Mnem's carriages from Oldrim. You guys need to stop releasing mods. Every time I think I have my modlist set someone comes along and does something like this. Not even concerned with the time and energy it takes for people to switch around their modlists just to accommodate your new release, are you? Shameful. Just kidding. It's beautiful work. Now I'm gonna have to switch thing around to see how it looks in-game with my ENB. I like Mnem's version but with my ENB it sometimes looks too new, whereas yours looks more faded and used (which I like). I guess after 54 years I've finally grown up enough to where everything doesn't need to be shiny and new. Ooooh, lookatthesparkly....
Yep. 55. Skyrim is apparently a thoroughly grown-up game. Ahem...
I just spotted this set of posts, which range across the year I've had this mod installed, and had to throw in my 2 cents, even tho' I really just stopped by to update and take the opportunity to reiterate all the nice things people have been saying about your work, WiZkiD. I've got quite a bit of it in my (stupidly humongous, but surprisingly smooth-playing) load order. Don't know what we'd do without you...
