I've been playing with this mod for a while and while I did manage to fix an issue where the bolts where shooting to the right(VRIK related) one thing stills bugs me which is that the rear sight doesn't line up with the frontal sights, it's to the right and doesn't at all line up with the shots I'm making.
MikeNZ`s Mod is good, but I never used it because the sights were way too modern for the alternate medieval/ancient world technology. This to my mind, is how anyone that designed sights would have them... as basic iron-type sights. Most crossbows in ancient days didn't even have ironsights, but some did have VERY simple IRON sights . Good stuff will try and rate.
I like the concept but unfortunately these sights do not line up for me. While fixing sighting for Scoped Bows VR Remix I have disabled Adjust Held Weapons Position in VRIK and set ini variables from here related to bow and arrow positions and draw. I can't say it was lined up before this change (I believe it was still firing a little high) but as of right now aligning the sights fires high and to the right (according to Eagle Eye and a few test shots) while the original sights from Sighted Crossbows VR do line up perfectly. Would it be possible to add a version that matches the original sighting but still has your simplified sight models?
