so, I want to use this with Requiem + submods which already handle the character traits (regen rates, skill use effectiveness, attack damage) this mod affects, and I'm thinking about how the debuffs will interact with each other. Like if I have multiple mod-added "spells" or perks or magic effects that all stack with different amounts of +/- to those traits, thinking there might be issues (not "problems" with this mod or the others, just compatibility issues).
If I'm understanding the script correctly, the actual debuffs themselves and their content are managed in the plugin itself, so I could change the perk/debuff effects in xEdit through a patch without needing to touch the script..? I'm not expecting to get support for troubleshooting once I do this, but just wanting to know if I'm understanding it right so I can play around and try to figure it out.
By the Nine! All my prayers are with you. This is still my favorite needs mod since it is super simple(no pun intended). If you do figure out how to make the need to eat and sleep shorter(every 5-6 hours or so), please do share. I did try opening the scripts myself in PEXInspector and saw that the Float values remained empty, I hit a bump cause since there was no default value, I had no idea what to input. I wish the blessing of the Nine in your quest. Go forth to glory, Shield-Brother/Sister.
Did you ever manage to get this mod to work with Requiem?
I have downloaded a so called "modlist" from the "Wabbajack" thing; the one called: "Do not go gentle". This list is amazing, but it lacks any survival mods, and the new "official" survival mode from the ingame menu mess this list up; by lowering your carry eight to zero.
Hence why I found this mod, and why I'm looking through these old comments.
I contacted the creator of the modlist, he is not interested in Survival elements at all, and is therefore not willing to spend any time on it, which is a damn shame!
If you have any suggestions to other Requiem compatible survival mods, please drop a link.
I know it has already been requested, but would love a version that has shorter hunger and sleep intervals. Every 6 hours you are hungry and after 15-18 hours your a tired. I see the comments on changing the script, but I can't figure it out.
Had a strange problem with this mod. While running a fresh save file with very few mods (an alternate start, this mod, an ultra basic custom home, and a weather mod. Absolutely nothing else plugin-wise) I could not learn Heavy Armor skills from skillbooks. When I look in Xedit nothing is conflicting (nor should it). When disabled I can gain the skill point as usual. Anyone have any insight into why this is?
is it possible to make the notification text ´´you´re hungry´´ and ´´you´re tired´´ to not disappear of the screen, but staying on until you eaten or slept and then disappear? I am having trouble remembering that my character is hungry and that is bad... and sad :(
Just to share, I opened this mod in SSEdit and changed all the "duration" values of the "messages" from "2" to "5" and now I feel they appear long enough to remind me.
Good day, first off, love your idea and love the mod. That said, is there any chance for a version that makes you feel hungry every 5-6 hours? Or, could you teach us how to change this value through SSEdit or CK perhaps? Jah bless mod authors.
I've been developing my own private version, doing that. It's pretty much done, just needs testing. I have it set to get "Hungry" at three hours, and "Very hungry" at 6 hours. Tired at 8 hours, very tired at 12 hours.
@aribaripapa: for real!? I'll try that mate. As soon as I figure out exactly what you mean. LoL! Thanks.
EDIT: Oh I see. I only used PEXinspetor to view the PEX directly, and saw that the "float" for "HoursTo..." has no default value. Leaving me with no idea what to change it to(because I had no where I was changing from). On top of that, I have no idea what I am doing. :( I honestly only downloaded PEXinspector to try and edit this mod.

Hope this won't break as Vitality Mode - Basic Needs - Eat Drink and Sleep does in long run. Given the simplicity of this one, though, I don't believe it would!
Mod really lives up to its name.

Any chance of this being ported for LE?
Edit: nevermind, found one that suits me.It only happened to me, once.

Otherwise great and simple mod ^^ thank you.
so i add this code (just add 'else' and next text... before 'end if')
if Player.HasSpell("SpellHungry/SpellSleepy" as form) == false
if blabla...
elseIf blabla...
endIf
endIf
[after]
if Player.HasSpell("SpellHungry/SpellSleepy" as form) == false
if blabla...
elseIf blabla...
endIf
else
Message"Hungry/Sleepy".Show(0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000)
endIf
I changed 'Display Time' 2 -> 60. but it didn't work. need new game?

Tired at 8 hours, very tired at 12 hours.

function LoadSettings()
UpdateInterval = 0.200000
HoursToGetHungryWarning = 6.00000
HoursToGetHungry = 8.00000
HoursToGetSleepyWarning = 16.0000
HoursToGetSleepy = 20.0000
endFunction
that value! i edited every 6 hours version.
UpdateInterval is notification cool time (1 = 1hour)
I think Champollion and Notepad++ is good tool for this work
