    =====UPDATE=====
    28/2/21
I have noted the difficulty some users have in accessing some files. I have included what shaders I can within use permissions and provided links to those I am not allowed to provide. I have included enbseries.fx.ini and enbadaptation.fx.ini files which are no longer available from the Nyclix ENB page; I could not get through to Nyclix after over a month, if he asks me to remove this I will create my own .fx files in their place.

Update 1.2: With the new GPU I had a bit more freedom with the FPS and through some experimenting with Gshade in FFXIV I have found some new (?old) shaders to play with. I have added in 2 new shaders to the 1.2 version: SSAO/SSGI which adds a 3rd layer of dark AO and light bounce thai I believe improves the depth of the image. I also added a distance blur shader that somewhat hides the aweful distant LOD and provides a level of realism when staring off very distant terrain. The SSGI shader is heavy on FPS, feel free to disable it if you prefer performance or dislike the effect, it only has a minor impact on visuals as you can see from the screenshots and RTGI already does something similar that I couldn't ramp up due to grass visual bugs.

    =====UPDATE=====
    24/7/20
I have taken your feedback onboard and created a 2nd lighter preset, which will be packaged with the original preset for those who prefer a more sombre look. I think the lighter version is better, and am using it personally in my game now, although this is personal taste. Please let me know what you think as your comments are very valuable to me, and have helped me make these changes.

I have also discovered the constant shimmering bug is due to TAA and aliasing. You can disable this in the skyrimprefs.ini or the launcher. The shimmering persists with camera movement due to aliasing when disabling TAA but at least its gone when static. The ENB SMAA or FXAA is ok, but really not the best as it just blurs the jaggies, and we really need SSAA to solve the issue. If someone discovers a way to force SSAA with ENB please leave a comment. I have tried to force both SSAA and MSAA with nvidia inspector and the base nvidia launcher with no success.

I'm getting some nasty flashing with SSGI enabled using v1.21. Not sure why, I can't seem to fix it by changing the settings in reshade.

That is pretty odd, I have not experienced that. What regions is there flashing, and is the shader order the same as in the description? Can you send me a screenshot of exactly what you are seeing so I can try and discover the cause please?

I shall do you one better and provide a video of the issue.

The shaders are all in the order you provided in the description and the issue stops if i disable SSGI so i'm fairly certain it's related to that shader.

That is incredibly strange, I have certainly never experienced anything like that. It may take me a little while to figure this out. In the mean time, if anyone else gets this please let me know as this is the first report I have of it occurring, and I really cannot fathom why.

      Had the same problem once!

Tried following this guide (although it is for Source), and it fixed my problem with Skyrim!

Hey, for what it's worth the same thing is happening to me but... To a much, much more extreme level. Disabling SSGI works just fine really, and I'm too GFX-blind to know what I'm lacking, but I figured I'd report it as well. Tried Enidan's fix but could only find performance mode, nothing about "copy depth buffers before clear operation" or depth limits, but I haven't looked much honestly.
3070TI with a bunch of mods
Using any of your 3 provided presets shares this issue
(I should also note you say you built this mod around RTGI version 0.19, but the $5 tier only offers version 0.17 at this time. Unrelated to this bug report, but just sharing.

Hey, I fixed the problem just like these other two and mostly used a video for it. The video is below: You basically just want to reverse your depth buffer using "DisplayDepth.fx". Toggle it on and you'll see the right half of the screen is entirely black. If that's the case you'll need to click "Edit Global Preprocessor Definitions" and change the CORRECT variable of "RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED" from a likely 1, to a zero. If it's already a zero just change it to a one. The right half of the screen should be a white/black mixture where you can make out shapes after you reload with that setting changed. I was already on the correct depth buffer, but if it's still off for you follow the video to learn how to figure out which depth buffer to choose.

Thanks for providing this information. Sometimes different people do need different depth buffer settings as you described but usually it's consistent at least within the same game. It could be with reshade updates the install default changes or something. Anyway if people are still having issues after trying this fix let me know

      https://reshade.me/forum/shader-discussion/4810-about-the-changes-in-displaydepth-fx

This link helps fix the issue, for some reason the shader normal map is flipped so if you follow that guide you can flip the normalmap and fix the issue. It's a depth buffer Issue as you said.

This looks great, the only bad thing is that I had to pay for Patreon to get the Martymcfly thing, but that's no big deal because it's pretty cheap, and I understand that the people who make that stuff spend a lot of time and hard work on it, so it's fair.

Where did you see that on Patreon? I only see "Reshade GI beta". Is that it?

You just need the 5 dollar subscription to his Patreon then you need to download the RTGI which I believe is what the Reshade GI Beta probably is.

It looks like the current distribution of ReShade doesn't include AmbientLight. The files can still be downloaded separately from Github so if you can't find it on your list you'll need to download them. There is a text file and some PNGs.

what lighting mod do you use? rudys enb requires ELFX and you recommend ELE and even say to install as desired, but those two lighting mods are not compatible with each other

Hi arfien. Was wondering have you come across grass flickering when using the ray tracing shader? Everything else is fine, but whenever I turn on raytracing grass just flicker like crazy. Im using veydosebrom.

It seems a lot milder in the gif but it's 10 times worse when I'm playing.

Yeah its a bug with RTGI I could not fix. It is pretty annoying but mine does not look that bad, not sure if could be a newer version of the rtgi or your grass mod.

Make sure U put the .FX files into the main reshade shader file with all the other shaders. How exactly are you installing them after downloading?

I am also having issues with DCLC_Sharpen [qUINT_sharp.fx] not showing up in reshade and I even made sure that reshade had paths to it. I even tried taking all the files and placing it out in the shaders files but it is still not showing up, I'm using the latest reshade version 4.9.1.

Update: Nevermind, the file was called DELC_Sharpen, but the reshade presets are still not appearing, downgraded to 4.7 and the reshade showed, not sure what is the exact problem but will play around til I figure it out.

Hello, these two are not showing up:

    DepthsharpenconstDof [DepthSharpenStaticDof.fx]
    SSGI [SSAO.fx]

    Where can I install them?

That is really odd, because I included those shaders in my download file 1.21. Have you installed everything in my download including the shaders folder into the skyrim directory?

This seems to happen when you install the mod via Vortex and then open file manager. If you install it manually, it actually structures the files properly after reshade-shaders. Otherwise the reshade-shaders is "unpacked" and thus when you drop them in skyrimsse folder, it's outside.

Yeah I would never recommend installing enb or reshade mods or anything that isn't a .esp/.esm mod via a file manager. Always do it manually.

After 10 mins of beautiful playing, my whole PC freezing( NOt CTD). I have to restart the damn thing by holding down the power button . This is my first ever ENB experience, so i do not know much ...
I got ENBseries from its website, then Rudy, i did not get Mrty McFly's whatever, and then this reshade.
i was using performance with graphics for over 6 months, never had this issue..Now im getting this and i am peaved/

My PC is a new computer i got from Costco, barely 10 months, its got an intel i5, 1660 super, 32GB ram, NVME disk with over 100GB free, windows paging file of over 32gs, 7450 score on the Cinebench mark, i monitored my temperatures during play and they all seemed normal (below 60 degree C) ...ran memory tests and everything looks good....im stumped...

Sorry I have no idea. Reshade should not cause this. Maybe it is putting too much pressure on your GPU which could be faulty or running out of memory. I had the same issue previously with certain very intensive games when I was running sli gtx680s. I upgraded my card and the issue went away.

i dont know how....but it fixed itself after few restarts.
      Gotta love gaming PCs.
Anyways, My 3rd person view is amazing.
However, when i switch to first person, its gets a bit hazy (saturated??)...maybe its the bloom, i dunno..
Im new to ENBs, new to reshades, so I dont know how to tweak ENB settings to fix this.

any idea how to fix that?
