The only part of this mod I'm having trouble with is arrows and crossbows. If it can be turn down somewhat so I don't get oneshot even with 500 armor that would be cool
I like nearly everything this mod does the makes bleakfalls very fun and makes me use the inviroment and the traps to clear the dungeon. However I would like to request a version that doesnt add crossbows to the enemies. when Im clearing a dungeon that is in an outside cell I CONSTANTLY get one shot from a mile away by level one enemies with a crossbow when im sitting at level 10. The crossbows make it nearly impossible for me to play a spell caster, and only makes it even more likely that im pushed into playing stealth/bow builds.
100% agree, i tried to find ways to express this while being really angry. as a spellcaster i feel like i'm dying to everything. i also belive there are too many saber tigers and high enemies in the wilderness making it feel unrealistic (i was attacked by a troll in falkreth there this one was cool i can see it become a too freakent event). where it's is kind of a bad item anyway i don't really understand why the Diadem of the Savant was made in to a clothes item, it's clearly a feature that it is Light Armour that works with the Full [Armour set] perks, like it counts as a helmet for both Heavy and Light armour and as clothes for mage armour. there is also the problem of Dagger becoming Machine Shankers and weapons being supper fast at all. two handed (which is deadly for the player) became 3 times more leathal with how fast they swing. and while i didn't do a full armour build, armour seems almost useless as there i have at best been two shoted (didn't wear heavy body armour but boots, gloves, helmet, and other mod addons which works with the armour increase)
The amount of artificial difficulty added by this mod is crazy, 4x damage for arrows, etc. Its configured in the 'ArmorTweaks' perk, but that can be disabled by removing the perkdistribute script from the mod so all that nonsense isn't applied. The staminaonhit script could go too if you don't like that either.
To module things I use SkyTweak/Skyrim Configuration Menu, where you can see some of the changes applied, you can revert them or change them to your liking.
Also Simply Balanced can help to further balance things.
Skyrim Unleveled introduces some crossbows that are not affected by Weapon Speed, so it is necessary to edit them in XEdit.
Alternatively you can try True Unleveled Skyrim. In their comments section is a link to Synthesis Patcher which will read all the mods, but I have still not tested it.
Im encountering some dwarven automaton (like in nczhuanzel) which can't be killed no matter how much damage I deal to it. I don't know if this mod is causing it or not though. maybe someone experiencing the same here?
During combat the cost of my spells is going up and I'm not sure why. It only happends when I am in close combat with an npc nothing happends when I am at range. Fast healing costed 106 mana and then costs 138 mana after being hit a few times by a bandit.
love the mod just really really hate all the arrows and crossbows although gotta say it is realistic now i have to bring companions for agro .wish the dmg on those things were scaled down a bit though
You lose stamina upon being hit by an enemy with this mod, in case anyone was curious and kept dying repeatedly due to zero stamina like I did and troubleshooted for hours trying to find the mod that's the culprit. Hope this comment helps somebody.

Deflect those bolts!
Use this and put crossbow at speed 5. Those damn things now are good but very slow to recharge as IRL.
