Hi there :) I love this mod! The cottage is so enchanting.

Unfortunately I've encountered a broken navmesh on the road to Riverwood. Hadvar kept getting stuck on it and would wind up swimming back and forth across the river. And then I recruited Faendal and he did the same thing. I'm not sure whether this has been reported already or if it's just me, but thought I would ask about it.

Endorsed either way. Thank you for the beautiful mod :)

sorry for the super late reply but yes, it's broken and I've looked at it but have not figured out the problem. Though that was a few months ago so I may take a look again soon. I just suggest not loading this mod until after the intro quest to Riverwood.

I've only noticed one issue and it's very minor. When starting a new game, and following Hadvar along the road, Hadvar tends to want to take the right turn up the path between the two small cliffs that lead to the cottage. Then, he follows the pathway down to the stairway that is closest to Riverwood where he gets back on the road and continues into the village.

First time I noticed this was because I turned around and Hadvar was missing. I started looking around while standing in the road. I saw some movement, looked up towards the cottage, and there was Hadvar on his way down the stairs after taking a detour. I tested several times and 4 times out of 5 he takes the route up to the cottage then heads toward the stone stairs and back onto the road.

On the bright side... this is one of the most detailed, pretty, and lore friendly player homes. It has a mystical vibe too. Personally, I don't even use it for a player home because I like the idea of a sweet old women living in her beautifully cluttered cottage in the woods outside Riverwood. Great work.

Hopefully there is a way to make Hadvar take the correct path???

Hi, I noticed that same issue with some of the residents of Riverwood doing the same thing when I first made the mod. I went back and disconnected navmesh from the road and made sure that preferred pathing wasn't active. It was the only thing I could think of to do. I didn't think of Hadvar having an issue. For now it will have to stay that way I'm afraid. I am actually answering you from my phone. My PC is boxed up because I am in the middle of selling my house and I probably won't be able to mod for another couple of months. I'll have to take another look at it then. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and thanks for the compliments!

This is so sad bro, first look at your mod, I was stunned, it looks like it came out of a dream, and then I saw these comments...

Does the alternate location you've added mess with the NPC's as well?

This home is wonderful! Would you please by any chance give permission for this mod to be ported to xbox so those of us who play that way can enjoy it too? I would LOVE to use the version without Sindora as a player home, it's perfect.

Wow, what an incredible place you've made here! I'll be using this one for sure. My only suggestion would be is to make Sindora be an Alchemy trainer.  Maybe even a Master given that it looks like she's been at this for a while.  We need a Master Alchemy trainer in the game for those of us who don't do the DB questline.  In fact, this place would be perfect for an Apprentice Alchemist character starting out.  Anyway, awesome work.  Endorsed.

I really like your work, it is very delicate, the location is well chosen, near the riverwood, where the story begins. Hope to see more of your work in the future. I also like the other one, but the location is too far away, and the requirements for computer configuration are relatively high. Prefer houses near Whiterun and riverwood. This is just right.

Thanks for this. It's actually really nice to see buildings with this much decoration to it actually be owned by someone other than the player.

    Hey.

Feb had to redo her Video, coz of some stupid copyright claim for music in the house or so.

so you may want to change that on your page to the new one here:

I've just got back into playing Skyrim and have been relearning how to deal with mods and have  been working on my load order and watching youtube videos.  I found your mod while looking through the nexus mod page accidently and loved it for a play through I'm thinking of an assassin build.  Needing a place to hidden out to rest makes this cottage prefect, but if I have the random walking by Riverwood residents kind of defeats that.  I look the idea of being able to roleplay meeting the nice old woman while wounded and her helping to nurse me back to health.  So to repay her kindness pretend to come by and visit helping her out with ingredient collecting and working around her shop.  Secretly learning poison making skills to help in my real life.  Thank you so much for this lovely mod.  I wish there was a few places for planting your own plants around and the alternate location was more hidden by nature seeing it across the bridge takes away from the hiding place.  Thanks again can't wait to look at some of your other work.

This is absolutely stunning. Such an enchanting, immersive, and detailed home. Truly. I play as an alchemist living out of Riverwood (in Vandfald Cottage, a modified Eli's Riverwood home, or a custom home on lake Illanalta) and now I can roleplay that I'm Sindora's apprentice.

Thanks! I'm glad your enjoying it. Hopefully I can get back to modding soon. I just had hand surgery last week and I am in the middle of putting my house up for sale. But I will be back!

Great cottage and npc for non-hero roleplaying. Sindora is going to be my granny and I her assistant and delver into the wilderness for rarer ingredients. So lovely. Hard to come by any player homes that have feminine charm.

Hope to see much more from you in the future.

You certainly will see more. I have 3 different mods I am bouncing around on right now. Fantasy and enchanting environments are my jam and I love bringing them to "life". I am so glad you like the Cottage. Enjoy!
