Ohhh fantastic work with these coins, WiZkiD! I wholeheartedly recommend my fellow players to give the Silver version a try out. It's not getting many downloads but they look great and it's a lovely little change in the Skyrim we all know so well. Grazie amico
I usually don't mess with Septim retextures but wanted one this time around. Problem was either clipping or they simply didn't fit the style I was looking for. Worn, used, ancient. WiZkiD to the rescue. They look great in game, especially where there are piles of coins.
Fantastic mod. I use a mod to add weight to coin and another one to exchange them for paper or gold ingots. Why I say this? I (mostly) prefer your silver coin design because I share your view of Bethesda inspiration on the Romans for the Imperial race. Therefore, silver coins will fit better with the bulk of trades/loot/jobs/wages. However, with the current Skyrim economy limitations, I've chosen the gold version. Now, I cannot speak for all people in why there is an enormous discrepancy for an even amount of downloads and usage for both coin types, but it's surely a waste for a less popular and equally beautiful model in sight.
This might sound a bit stupid but, will this revert the size of septim affected by Smaller Septim? back to its original if i were to overwrite it with your mod?
EDIT: it only contains meshes. Shame if it cant keep the size, I would try to reduce the texture to fit into mesh myself but i don't know how to start, i never touched creation kit.
These retextures look so damn cool, nicely done. I'm having a harder time deciding which color to use then I did naming my own kid. Would it at all be possible to have a version that randomly picks between the 2? Probably not, but that would be awesome. Thank you nonetheless, I'm definitely using these.
