Just a question. I downloaded the Smooth Magic Casting Animation mod (manually) and I put the contents (there are folders in there namely 996, 1391, etc.) in folder 7008 and it's still not working. Do I have to get the animations out from their specific folders? Or should I rename those folders with values greater than 7020?? Thanks!
Quick question: is it possible to set up multiple animations for equipment situations with this mod? For example, an animation for sword and shield, a separate animation set for sword and ward, and another for sword and empty left hand.

So can I create custom folders to add custom animations for Axe and shield and then a different one for mace and shield? For example 7013 - Axe+ Shield 7014 - Mace + Shield etc
Can anyone help me setup an animation file please? I just want to enjoy my game, get this dumb modding (I'm trying to finish my load order right now and it's got other issues) finished and play. Any more time waiting and I'm just going back to FNIS.
Curious: if I put more than one idle animation in the folder, will it cycle between them? Or how would I go about doing that, to have more than one idle animation if possible?
Hi you can definitely do that. I forgot how because I haven't been playing for awhile but try making different folder for different animation then having it execute base on a certain degree (for example one animation will happen if you are low on health, if you are using a different kind of magic, ie lightning and fire) so I suggest you look at DAR codes and try doing that.Also it might be a hassle doing all those things but its worth it at the end.
You’re right, it would definitely be worth it immersion-wise. I use EVG conditional idles and animation variance, so I know it’s POSSIBLE, I just have no idea HOW haha. I’m going to try to look through some of those codes and see if anything jumps out at me, I’m sure it would be some kind of conditional text?
Just noticed this post while I was looking for how to add first person animations into this folder structure, and wanted to pass this on to you. I use this dynamic idles structure, and it cycles randomly to every idle I have in the folder every time you stop or sheathe. Super easy to use, just need java installed.
