Hm. It's likely I fucked up and copied over a reference to the script somehow. It's referring to a script from this mod: Flora Respawn Fix.
I don't have a concrete answer for you at the moment as I haven't played Skyrim for a few months and can't boot up xEdit to check. If anyone with the know-how can check I'd appreciate it.
Just wanted to say that I've been playing with this mod for a couple of months now and it really is so wonderful. It makes me so happy to see the flowers with their unique names (which are lovely and so well chosen - 'Ysmir's Flame' is my favourite) - it's a superficially small change that actually makes a massive difference in terms of immersion, and it's just much more interesting than having 'blue mountain flower', 'red mountain flower' etc. This has rapidly become one of my favourite mods. Thank you so much for making this, your hard work is sincerely appreciated!
Hey, I love this mod but there's a conflict with the Cathedral 3D Mountain flowers - the flowers go back to having their vanilla names (both as a harvestable plant and as the ingredient itself), even when this mod is being loaded after it.
I don't use that mod, but looking at its files page there's an optional file that "restores the vanilla mountainflower mesh path in case you have another mod that changes it", have you tried that out?
I am using that, but it turns out an outdated patch for a related mod was loading after yours, and thus reversing the changes! All is good now. Thank you for this mod, it's great!
Just quickly wanted to add for anyone who is also using both mods - because I've just realised this - since Cathedral 3D Mountain flowers adds new snowy mountain flowers, you need to go into SSEEdit and manually rename those to 'Nordic Wildflower'! Only takes a minute :)
Hmmm...I had this working with 3d Trees and Plants but after a fresh install of the game they're not compatible. Is there anyway I could get a patch, please?
Update: I just popped 3D Trees and Plants open in the CK and manually renamed them!
I like the idea of this mod, but I have a couple of suggestions: 1. A version that gives the distinct names to the plants, rather than just renaming all "Mountain Flower" to "Nordic Wildflower" 2. Add the new names to the recipe notes that use them (the kind that can be bought from alchemy merchants or sometimes found in random loot)
I actually kinda liked the idea in the base game that these are viewed as varietals of somewhat related flowers. I can definitely make a version where the bushes are called Mara's Eyes, Ysmir's Flame etc. though. The recipe notes had completely slipped my mind. Not sure where it is in the files, but will look into it!
I'm a bit lazy though, probably won't get to it this weekend. :p
I'm not denying they're varietals of related flowers, but I don't see the logic of the main character not being able to fully identify them until *after* picking them. I'm somewhat colorblind, but presumably the Dovahkiin is not (except when using Night Eye). BTW, the Oldrim version of Harvest Overhaul included separate names for the plants, I haven't checked Harvest Overhaul Redone.
No rush, though. I already changed them in my local copy with xEdit. As far as the recipe notes, this page might help you: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Recipes
They are visually identifiable though, by the color. I think it's just one of those things people don't make a distinction for. When I see a chicken I don't think "that's a white/brown/red chicken", I just think "that's a chicken" even though I can see what color it is.
How would this inteact with something like CACO? Is it just a text change? I figure I'd just have to foward the changed name into a bash patch or something similar, right?
Probably not compatible as they edit the same items. :(
I'll be making some compatibility patches... probably should have done that before I uploaded, hah.
edit: had a look at More Growables, looks like it should be compatible out of the box, mostly. Only thing is that the yellow mountain flower garden plant will continue to be called that and not "Nordic Wildflower". CACO definitely needs a patch, though.

No such script in my game or in this mod, but it is called in the esp under VMAD Virtual Machine Adapter.

Glad to hear it was sorted out. :)
Glad you found some value in it, too!

Thanks for the link, that saves me a lot of time.
I'm not sure as I don't use CACO, but yes, I imagine you might need a bashed patch. Alternately you could just use xEdit to copy the changes over.
edit: done.

edit: mod now includes the yellow mountain flower
