So, for what it's worth, I'm playing Skyrim again to do the AE content, and I reinstalled this from a Nexus download via Vortex rather than using my own file. I've tested it with every weapon combo that the original mod was intended to function with, and it seems to work fine. I'm even using Precision on this playthrough, patched with Nemesis, and have run into no problems.
I'm going to reiterate that all I did here was convert this mod to Form 44 from Skyrim LE. I'm not Borgut1337, nor do I even understand the sorcery which originally made this mod possible. Any debugging or compatibility fixing this needs will have to go through them - as I said on the description page, this mod is provided as-is.
The one comment I can make re: the randomness of left and right attacks is this: true randomness on a 50/50 split means you can and will see streaks of one result over another from time to time. It's not even that rare. That's just math.
Could anybody make a version where attacks automatically alternate between left and right instead of being random ? While this mod is perfect in every other regard, its somewhat irritating to attack with your right hand weapon five times in a row. I can´t find a similar mod that does this or anything else in this regard anywhere on the internet. The only thing for actualy reference i could find is the "Unarmed Attack Variation and Blocking" mod for oldrim which does exactly that for unarmed combat

Attacks arent random for me. If im spamming, it always goes 4/5 left, 4/5 right. Seems fine if im waiting about half a sec between attacks, but what's the point then?
For everyone experiencing no blocking animation on third person and, like me, is using "Immersive Animations" : Delete "dw1hm1hmblockidle.HKX" and "dw1hm1hmmovingblockidle.HKX" in the Immersive Animations meshes folder. If you don't use Immersive Animations it's probably another mod containing "dw1hm1hmblockidle.HKX" and "dw1hm1hmmovingblockidle.HKX" animation files, delete those as well. This fixed it for me.
I love the oldrim version of this. For some reason, I can't see the third person animation of blocking. I'm not using any other animation mods so this is weird.

When I block from enemy attack I didn't get experience. I tried tgm and block attack from a giant (very obvious get lot experience) still got nothing.
I really love this mod but it's a bummer it has a small bug.
Edit: I found the solution, it was tgm the culprit.
