How about weapons, different weapons should have different stamina usage? - by default in vanilla, this one is already implemented because stamina usage in my mod is computed per second. Therefore, weapons that are faster to use, swing faster or have quicker bow draw speed, by default will use less stamina per second. For example a one-handed iron dagger swings faster than a two-handed greatsword therefore it will consume less stamina when used.
I think stamina consumption points are too high? - Not really. These values are set considering that your character is constantly regenerating stamina all the time. So basically, you can counter all these effects if your character will have a very high stamina regen value.
Will this mod make my game more difficult? - yes, as it will add a new stamina consumption mechanic. However, its effect is balanced and not game breaking in any way -- it will just change your playstyle to be more cautious.
Will it get me killed if my stamina gets too low? - Not directly, but as a consequence in combat, yes you may get killed for having very low stamina - this is a new mechanic not present in vanilla :)
What should I do to avoid getting stamina drain penalties? - keep constant watch over your stamina levels as you move around specially during combat. Use stamina potions and food
Will this mod give me super powers and cool abilities? - Nope

I really wish there was a way to make heavy armor cost stamina while running. I´m trying to rebalance and I´m trying to nerf heavy armor and make it better as a late game option. Any advice?
this mod simply doesnt work the way it should "running" aka a slight jog in armor drains stamina akin to if i were a grandma i set all stamina drains to 0 and it still drains fast as f*#@ i dont know what to say other than fix the configs or the mod
Maybe skyrimaguas should pin my msg on this, as it seems one of the most common question... anyway, again:
I also thought that the console customization didn't work for all settings, but that was because I forgot about "ARMOR TYPE INFLUENCES" If wearing armor, EVEN if you "set DS_MOVEMENT_WALK to 0", you will still get stamina drain, 1pt for HA, and 0.5 for LA. There is no global variable toggle for that unfortunately, but it is easy to change that in SSEEdit. Under Dynamic Stamina > Spell > Actions Use Stamina (all 3 spells,Actions Use Stamina, Actions Use Stamina Player, Actions Use Stamina NPC) look for effects #14-17 and change the magnitude to your liking (or to 0). Effects #14-15 are heavy armor influences, and #16-17are for light armor.
i mean sure thats cool and all but im not gonna do all that the author should just add it to the mcm however that is good to know you should make an original comment and ask for a sticky from the author so this isnt lost under other posts
This mod is just super. Seriously. It affects npcs too.
Finally they can´t spam their attacks like crazy. They will not defend all the time when installing wildcat. They suffer penalty when using bows. They are slowered when running and attacking...
All that i wanted. I dont know how many mods would i need for every detail...but now is all done.
Yes; i know npcs dont know how to manage stamina but i dont like using followers so it was nearly impossible to fight 3 enemies without cheese them or using some other methods. Now i can finally play.
I let here my personal preferences to use with this mod. First disable combat-movement-npc and activate regenerate faster, those commands work. Then download stamina matters and cardio. Configure both in the mcm. In cardio you can make stamina consumption only while running and disable everything else if u want. And with stamina matters use the combat consumption, let it handle the npc and activate the deny actions, disable everything else also the script if u want and thats all. Also i like shield of stamina but if u dont like it u can use other one.

惩罚机制改为原版。当体力为零时,仍然可以正常攻击、格挡、游泳、奔跑、潜行,不消耗体力。
除此之外,其他一切都如常。
再次感谢您的模组。
set DS_MOVEMENT_WALK to 0
