REMOVED the 'Stench of Death'. It was kind of a pain! (It used to be that when looting a corpse, there was a chance for you to gain a special disease, but no more!)
ADDED the option to spawn Nordic Ghosts or Draugr Ghosts. By default, Nordic Ghosts will spawn. This was suggested by a player a while ago! I thought it was a clever idea, as ghosts don't normally look like rotting corpses -- they'll look like the 'idea' of you, which for Nords would probably be what they looked like at the prime of their lives. They will equip either 1-handed or 2-handed weapons, they all have bows and shields, and some of them are even mages.
I have the same problem of no mcm menu and no Unlucky Loot events. If scripts are causing the problem, how do I find these scripts, and how do I put them where they should be? Or (better!) how do make the Vortex program do this? (Simply re-installing the mod didn't seem to help.)
In Gabriel's post , they give the explanation, don't where any have your mods installed with which ever mod manager, but I use mo2 , You need to use right click the mod in left pane, open in explorer, in the little menu area click on " new folder" and rename it scripts, ... Then move all and only pex ending files into it ..
FYI, the file structure is messed up in version 1.3. You need to create a folder named Scripts. Put all 3 .pex files into it. It should just be the Scripts folder and the .esp plugin. Preview the files in 1.2 and you can see how it's supposed to look.
Not being an mo2 geek , did that with the folder and called it scripts, had the mcm show , tried it previously no mcm showed, I occasionally get mcm messages about 1 new mod, being no new mod there, but this ti was, ... My game is still ver 1.6.640 so worked for me
Can you release a version with both the enchanting modifier, the nordic ghosts AND the stench of death? I'm actually interested in having all features enabled.
nice mod overall, but still cant get any black souls on enchanting level 80. even on lowered chance at 1, of 7 filled black soul gems i tried to take, all of them spawned seeker instead. help?
Hey there, i'm encountering issues with soul gems breaking when soul traping an enemy. It's very apparent when i use a soul trap cloack spell while having a black gem in my inventory, and everytime i kill an human enemy and the black soul gem should be filled, it doesn't get filled and a seeker spawns, which creates an litteral army of seekers when i'm killing groups of bandits. Problem also happen with regular soul trap. I'm not sure if this is intended.
The break rate also doesn't seem quite accurate. Based on my setting, i should only have a max 12% chances a seeker spawns, but in my game, it looks damn near 100% to me.
I wanted to debug things for myself and fix my issues, but you didn't provide the papyrus script source in the files. It'll be great to add them so i can take some time to dive deeper on what's going on.

I don't remember what I exactly did, but try installing this mod over the original: Unlucky Loot - Settings Loader at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
