I have thought about making one, but there is one problem. A stiletto is exclusively a thrusting weapon, and dagger animations in Skyrim are mostly slashing attacks. It would look silly to do slashing attacks with a weapon that has no sharp edges.
So here's what I'm thinking... I could make a dagger that resembles a stiletto, but it would not be a real stiletto. I could make a long and narrow blade, with sharpened edges so it makes sense to use slashing attacks. How does that sound?
Sure, I'm interested. But I'd like to hear that idea on how to make it, since I really don't see how it would work well with Skyrim's default animations. If the blade is perpendicular to other daggers, it would make finishing moves look completely broken. And the weapon would be sticking out of your body when sheathed.
So my idea is, well, it all depends on being able to make the weapon look like and be positioned as a vambrace, that is, a kinda cuff over the forearm. When it is "sheathed" you have the blade retracted, when it is drawn, it is extended out. I honestly don't think the dagger sheathing animation will be too immersion breaking, but then again, feedback is key in that regard.
Blade So, this is what it look like when draw, when it's "sheathed", get rid of the blade.
As i was looking for an example, i found this Crossbow I think we could use the same method here, of just making a vambrace and mounting a crossbow to it. If my logic is correct, depending on how you make the mesh, you could (through experimentation) possition the weapon where the arm of the PC is.
Edit - I looked at a compilation of the sword/dagger animations, so far i only see an issue with two, besides from that, the rest should be fine as long the blade is long enough :)
There's a hidden blade mod already made for LE, I've not used it myself and from a quick glance at the description it seems to have some bugs and compatibility issues, but it's definitely doable. It's called Dwarven Mechanical Right Blade: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40705
The mod is from 2013 and I'll bet with how far the modding community has come in the years this can be made better in 2020, maybe with DAR opening up weapon animations without the need for scripting or anything. It might be much simpler than that, I don't really know that much about animating weapons, just throwing some speculations out there.
I did some experiments, but there are way too many problems with a weapon like this. I also looked at that Dwarven Blade mod, but it's way too advanced for me to replicate.
Not going to pursue this one any further, unfortunately.
I like the "thief's knife" and the cleaver. Would it be possible to make a full suite of them? As in like a version for each material type, looking slightly different and with increasing stats.
I might make a couple of remodeled versions, for example, a Thief's Knife with different colors and stats (just like Chillrend is a remodeled glass sword). But a full suite from iron to daedric? Probably not. It would not only be a huge amount of work, it wouldn't look that good either having ten different textures plastered on the same mesh. The weapons would also lose their uniqueness.

Despite this mod pages short life so far, i'm surprised that i'm the first asking for this.
