    I just don't get it. I install the main mod (4k texture), then parallax after that, and in my load order, parallax comes after the 4k texture.. These are loaded AFTER all my other texture mods. Yet, not even the texture works. 

    Yes, I have engine fixes, parallax beta, etc all installed.

    What could possibly be the issue?

      Do you have the following set in your Skyrim.ini under [Archive]:

      bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

      That setting is known as Archive Invalidation & must be set for mods to work at all in any Bethesda game...

    This is really a little beauty of a mod. The Gildergreen needed some serious love, and looks great in 4K (or 8K). Thanks a million, and kudos!

    P.S.:   Any chance you could do the same for the Eldergleam? Now there's a tree that needs some high-def love.

      Actually the Eldergleam is changed as well, it uses the same model... think I forgot to mention this ;)

    Hello! Is this compatible with open cities?

    Also would someone mind explaining what uncompressed normals means for the 8k optional file. Would the 8k optional file look better than the 8k main file? If so I think my computer could handle it. Thanks

      it's fully compatible with open cities and yes, optional uncompressed 8k looks better

      Thanks a ton. For some odd reason it's not changing the Gildergreen for me. I got this because some other mod has changed the trees leaves from pink to green. Overwriting everything didn't seem to work.
      I'll mess around with things until I figure it out though, thanks for this awesome mod.

      If you have Skyrim 2020 by Pfuscher installed, you might have the culprit right there

    Awesome texture.
    Other Gildergreen textures seem to forget that Gildergreen is not supposed to be a healthy tree when you first see it, but this mod keeps it lore-friendly while still being of great quality.

    Hi. I'm missing the sap (?) textures on the gildergreen. Do you know what these texture names are to help me sort this out? Love the look of your mod! I've got a long mod list but I do use Skyrim 3D Plants (no trees) and I needed to get some textures out of the full mod to fix an issue with the hearthfire greenhouse and the scaly pholiota (I believe) so I wonder if this sap (?) texture is similar. Any other ideas to point me in the right direction.

      You need my meshes too to have it displayed

      Thanks. I allowed your mod to overwrite the meshes and textures of all my other mods that affect your files. I am using your 4k option and then your parallax patch. On a whim, I removed your parallax patch and left your 4k option and the sap texture is now present:

      really strange...
      images on my page are made with working sap-parallax;)
      Did you apply SSE Parallax Shader Fix (BETA)
      and
      SSE Engine Fixes (skse64 plugin)?

      Maybe it's the SSE Engine Fixes. I've had that installed for this play through, but my version is currently 4.12. I followed the instructions to add the SSE Parallax Shader Fix (BETA) because I did not already have that installed and I verified in it's log file that it is working. So, if functionality from SSE Engine Fixes 5.0+ is needed, then that would be my issue. I'm more than a bit worried about updating SSE Engine Fixes mid play through, so it seems like I'll need to hold off on the parallax until the next time. Thanks for the help!

      I talk tough, but I backed up my files and updated Engine Fixes anyway and that fixed the problem! Looks great! Thanks for posting this mod!!
