Thank you for this beautyfull mod. Might there be incompatibility issues with nature of the wild lands? If i install and activate your mod it does not appear. (mod loads after notwl) there is a normal tree from nature of the wild lands. if i activate G.I.R.T.H. (which has an esp) and overwrite it witch your mod the tree can be seen.

I didn't know you have a complex parallax version of this mod, which I just found: Vivid Landscapes - Complex Parallax Occlusion - Gildergreen Tree at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

I'm going to try it out, love this version so I bet it looks great!  Thank you!

Looks wonderful! I'm surprised there's barely any retextures of this tree considering how iconic it is and how often you walk by it.

I'm wondering, if it's not too much work of course, would you be willing to do a version of the fully grown tree without all the sap + the little log part in the middle? I imagine alot of people are using Gildergreen Regrown with this and it would make sense to have a naturally grown tree without the puncture wound and whatnot. No worries either way.

    EDIT:

I actually managed to figure this out myself. If anyone else happens to want the same thing, what I did was use NifSkope to edit the mesh of wrtempletree02.nif. You need to remove a few of these "BSTriShape" entries. I don't remember exactly which ones I removed but just mess around and you should be able to figure out which ones are responsible for the sap and the little log in the middle of the tree. It wasn't too hard to figure it out, it may help to know the sap and the little log sticking out are using the texture wrtreefloweringbranch01.DDS.

Also make a copy of that file before you do anything!

This is a beautiful retexture! But the cobwebs glow pretty badly for me. Anyone have a solution?

I think that's an ENb issue
Do you have them glowing in other areas as well if illuminated by a torch or so?

I assumed so. I tried downloading a fix but they're still pretty bright. It does happen elsewhere.

For anyone wondering, this mod works just fine with Gildergreen Regrown and Petals Fall Down. Endorsed.

Most neglected but most important Tree in Skyrim. Imagine having any good retexture with the ugly Vanilla one. Doesn't fit.
