For Wet and Cold, the hoods are always on minimal protection no matter what hood I use. Is this how it's supposed to be or is the protection supposed to be higher. Looking at the patch in xEdit makes me believe the hoods are supposed to have the same protection as their equivalent cloaks.
EDIT: NVM I found the problem. I needed to disable "detect clothing" so the mod doesn't overwrite the changes from the patch.
I installed this patch, and it now reports "excellent protection" in the MCM, but in game the rating is still 0 and equipping doesn't add to the warmth rating. This is just the cloaks. The hoods are rated at 18 and work fine. Any help?
I really couldn't tell you, it's quite possible something is overwriting the form lists for this patch. You would have to look in xedit or zedit and see what might be happening there. Adjust your load order or something..
Thanks for that, Forgot to mention it. I'll update the requirements. Well, I went to make one more patch for frostbite. After that, I can look into doing the ESP version of Frostbite.
Frostbite seems to have more problems with the esl version so I want to use the main version. I also want the patch for Wet & Cold. But your patch is only for the esl version.
I saw you mentioned you were going to make another version of the patch but that was over a year ago. I also see you're still active as of a month ago. So can we expect a patch or is the issue dead?
Yes it is however if everything tests ok with Frostbite, and it looks as if it will, I want to add it to my load order guide. Having a patch on Nexus makes it easy for others using the guide to access.
Frostbite isn't set up to detect the cloaks from these mods to provide a warmth rating. These mods add them to the appropriate forms lists so they will.
Hi, I need help regarding the sticky post.... what exactly do you mean by "merging" the patches? Is it taken care of automatically when I create a new SSEMerged patch in SSEEdit?
I don't know if WryeBash will merge Formlists. But I don't see why it shouldn't. But when I mean using SSEEdit, I mean manually making a patch. You can also Merge Such Files by using Zmerge.

I was frustrated why wearing a cloak was not making my character warm. I needed this!
