Hey everyone - I’ve been going through my mods and have posted links to the individual textures and the exact links where I downloaded each one. You can cross reference them with the files in my mods. I just wanted to clear up some rumors that all my files are stolen. They’re just standard textures I download from various sites. I’ve posted al those links which you can find under the description section of my mods (including this one).. I used to have general links to texture sites I sourced from but I’ve since updated them to be far more specific and to include exact links to the individual files for anyone who wants to cross examine them. I will also be doing this for all future mods as well.
Fantastic textures, one of my favorite mods. I always go for the green variant. The doors are absolutely stunning - I marvel at them every time I go through one.
Of course it's all a matter of taste and I don't wish to discredit the mod author's work, but I got weird visuals when using these textures alongside ENB. ENB's lighting system makes the stone and the metal included in this pack way too bright. Inside Dwemer ruins it makes Skyrim look like Morrowind. However, if that's your thing, maybe go for it?
any chance you could rename the zips "1/2/4 FOMOD installer" isnt very discriptive so anyone thats downloads is going to very quickly forget whats in them
Hi Clever lad, I just thought I'd drop you a note of thanks for the mod. You're new to me, and I now find 10 retex mods of yours in my load order. Y'all be making fine rocks, m'boy. They turn up sort of frequently in Skyrim. I even traded one of Mathy's (Skyrim 3D) indirectly because of your mods with their very fine rocks. Taking his spot is rather a big deal. Although I must say, his real speciality is trees, it'll be a while before you get to replace those.
I am perplexed. I installed this mod and had no issues, I thought it looked pretty good (and the rock textures are awesome, too). The extra detail really lifts dwemer ruins from cheap, plastic soft clay structures to actual stonework that's lasted ages, it looked awesome!
However, whenever I install this mod, "DweFloorRubbleFlat01.nif" looks absolutely hideous. It truly is probably the worst texture I've ever seen. I thought, "Oh well, I'll just remove it from this mod in specific, it's a single texture/mesh, it doesn't matter".
There's the problem, though. This mod, apparently, does not even contain this file. Yet, this file is changed whenever I enable/disable this mod. I have no idea what's causing this problem, but I'm gunna dig deeper.
Wonderful mod! I noticed that the Dwemer Doors appear to glow-in-the-dark because their meshes have an Emissive Color and an Emissive Multiple of 1.0. Specifically:dwemersmalldoor01.nif dwemersmalldoorload01.nif
With NifSkope, setting the Emissive Multiple to 0.1, or just setting the emissive color to black, both worked well to fix it. Just wasn't sure if the emissivity was intentional and thought you should know! Cheers
Great mod, I love the intricate door detail! I know this one's been out for a while but any chance for a smooth gold version similar to Forgotten Vale?
