Hi! I have created a bunch of new patches for this mod, including Seasons of Skyrim support. You can find them here: Blue Palace Terrace Patch Collection.
You think there would be a way to ENB Light Blue Palace windows instead of using Dyndolod for the palace glow? Or maybe ELFX? Edit: I learned the light glow was from the Blue Palace Nights static. I am trying to see if removing the nif instead of the whole static will fix things. Because the static has LOD files attached.
I have no idea I guess it was cause ENB and I use community shaders now.
As far as I know, DynDOLOD has nothing in common with any of the other mods you mentioned. ELFX Exteriors makes a cool window effect, but the trouble is that the authors of the retextures do not support it, so I don't use it anymore.
I figured it out Rustic Windows glow maps were interfering with the glow. So I remove the glow files from that. Now the LOD Glow works again.
I double checked the Blue Palace Nights Courtyard Legacy Fixed BPT Conflict 3 made sure to delete the Cells addons that conflict with WS and initial disable the rock. Not sure if different than 2 just reposting. BPT is now working as intended with the other mods I have for me.
Greetings, Drengin and thanks very much for this amazing mod! I have a re-texture I'm using for the blue palace/solitude, however because the lod files (in your bsa I believe) are pointing to your specific textures it's keeping dyndolod from creating a grand bto that include my new textures. What would your suggestion be to get around this? I really want to use your lod models as they are super detailed. Thanks for your time and any help you can offer.
This is impossible. My LOD models use textures specially made for them, which are not compatible with vanilla textures or replacers. I have a new version of the BPT almost ready, I made a completely new sanctuary, which is a light tower with a statue on top, based on a massive bastion tower. There will be a new extremely detailed LOD that is fully compatible with Vanilla and retextures; such a problem will not arise with it.
When you update the mod, could you also provide DynDOLOD render files for the LOD textures? Some of the meshes that use your LOD models still use Vanilla textures (at least for the current version), so it would be great if one could use TexGen to update them for texture replacers. It would also facilicate for me to render seasonal LOD files where needed (for my Seasonal Landscapes patch; currently needed for the ivy sanctuary).
I plan to stop using specific textures for better compatibility. LOD_1 is made using vanilla slod**.dds textures, while LOD_0 is a combo of full 3D, for walls that the player can see from afar, with parts of LOD_1 for those walls that the player cannot see. I don’t think that this approach can cause performance problems on modern computers, but the difference in the quality of the video is huge.
It would be wonderful to build the terrace walkway around LOTD and dress it up with a similar royal architectural style with peaks, windows and towers.
It is a beautiful mod. I love this design. Very royal ! The castle the capital Solitude deserves The big dining room is so good and the garden is amazing. By Dibella!! It is very photogenic. I love this mod.
How to make this compatible with seasons of Skyrim? I'm unable to get proper snow coverage on the roads with the part of Solitude's road that this mod touches (if I understand correctly?). Is this something to be done on xEdit? (If it is I would appreciate detailed instructions step by step!)
In the screenshot at the bottom you can see the divide that happens between the entrance-part of Solitude (where the NPC execution happens) when Seasons of Skyrim properly applies snow coverage, but then the part roads of Solitude that Blue Palace Terrace modifies are left in this weird grey state. This grey state continues all to the way to the palace.
I am using Vivid Landscapes - Complex Parallax Snow 2k with the patch ProjectedDiffuse Patch - Vivid Landscapes Complex Parallax Snow 2k (<- this mod overwriting all conflicts).
The Seaons of Skyrim related mods I'm using are:
Seasons of Skyrim SKSE
Simplicity of Seasons - Main File (Hotfix)
Turn of the Seasons
Four Seasons - Faster Seasons of Skyrim
I am on Anniversary Edition 1.6.640, and also using JK's Skyrim and Dawn of Skyrim, with
JK's Skyrim - Dawn of Skyrim - Patch (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16852)
JK's Blue Palace Terrace (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/75965)
And I'm also using BluePalaceTerrace-Dawn of Skyrim-Patch-SE from your downloads.
Not sure if it matters in this context, but I am also using
