Ordinator - Combat Styles

REQUIREMENTS:

Weapon Speed Mult Fix or something that does the same thing. This is just the one I use.

WHAT IT DOES:
This small mod is an add-on for Enai Siaion's Ordinator perk overhaul. It modifies Ordinator's One Handed tree to include additional perks that allow the players to pursue "combat styles." One of the styles, dual-wielding, already exists in Vanilla and Ordinator, and has merely been given some additional perks. The second, single-wielding, is new. It's perks only function when wielding a one-handed weapon and nothing else (torches carry penalties that disappear as you take more perks, while spells disable the perks entirely). It started off as a mod that let me play as an agility and speed oriented fighter, but it's grown a bit, fleshing out the two combat styles that are possible with one-handed weapons.

This mod was originally made for SPERG on Skyrim LE. I tried to account for the strength of Ordinator's perks compared to SPERG's perks, which were much stronger in general. Because this mod was built on SPERG originally, I had to make some changes to Ordinator's perks Ravage and Unleash the beast. The main change is that Ravage now provides an increase to damage rather than speed, since the theme of this mod is single weapon/speed and dual weapon/damage

THE PERKS:
Single Weapon Style
Rank 1: One-handed 30, One-Handed Mastery
When wielding a one-handed weapon in one hand and nothing in the other, attack speed increases by 20%

Rank 2: One-handed 60, One-Handed Mastery
When wielding a one-handed weapon in one hand and nothing in the other, attack speed increases by 40%

Dual Weapon Style (Included in Ordinator, originally named Ravage)
One-handed 30, One-Handed Mastery
Rank 1: Dual wielding attacks do 20% more damage.
One-handed 60, One-Handed Mastery
Rank 2: Dual wielding attacks do 40% more damage.

Unburdened
One-handed 40, Single Weapon Style or Dual Weapon Style
When wielding one-handed weapons (dual or single, no shield), armor rating increases by 20%.

Vigorous
One-handed 50, Single Weapon Style
Reduces Stamina cost for power attacks by 30% when single wielding.

Agility
One-handed 80, Vigorous
When wielding a one-handed weapon in one hand and nothing in the other, there is a 10% chance to slow time during an enemy's power attack, with a 20% chance to deal lethal damage while slowed.

Celerity
One-handed 70, Vigorous or Man o'War
Increases run speed by 10% while wielding one-handed weapons (single or dual) and grants the Whirlwind ability.

Brutality
One-handed 90, Agility or Unleash the Beast
When wielding a single one-handed weapon and nothing else or two one-handed weapons, there is a small chance of doing lethal damage or staggering the opponent.

The following perk allows some interplay between the styles for those who like to mix it up.

Sagacious Warrior
One-handed 60, Dual Weapon Style and Single Weapon Style
Grants bonuses based on chosen weapon style perks (dual or single) while wielding one-handed weapons in any configuration (including one-handed weapons and shields, but not weapons and spells).

Consult the following chart for Sagacious Warrior bonuses:

Dual Weapon Style: +5%
Man o'War: +10%
Unleash the Beast: +15%

Dual Weapon Style - Increased Attack Damage
Single Weapon Style: +5%
Vigorous: +10%
Agility: +15%

Single Weapon Style and Dual Weapon Style - Increased Critical Chance
Dual Weapon Style and Single Weapon Style: +5%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style and Man o'War: +7%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style and Vigorous: +7%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style, Man o'War, and Vigorous: +9%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style, Unleash the Beast, Vigorous, and Man o'War: +11%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style, Unleash the Beast, Vigorous, and Agility: +11%
Single Weapon Style, Dual Weapon Style, Unleash the Beast, Vigorous, Man o'War, and Agility: +15%

CHANGES FROM ORDINATOR:
Changed Ravage to Dual Weapon Style.
Changed Ravage to damage increase rather than speed.
Changed Unleash the beast to require One-Handed 80 rather than 90.
Normal edition: Adds a weapon speed "buff" to Dual Weapon Style to let Man O'War function properly.

INSTALLATION:
Use your preferred mod manager or install manually. Load "Ordinator - Combat Styles.esp" after "Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp". You should probably do a perk reset before installing this mod if you are using it on a game in progress, just to be safe, especially if you have already taken any of the Ordinator perks that I have modified.

COMPATIBILITY:
This mod only modifies things that Ordinator itself modifies, so it should be compatible with everything.
Blended Skills requires a patch, located on that mod's Files page.
