Changelogs
Vampires are supposed to be weak to silver and yet you can hold silver weapons without any issue at all. Dawnbreaker is supposed to be a powerful undead killing artifact made by an undead hating god. With this mod, you will no longer be able to equip silver weapons if you are a vampire or werewolf without taking constant damage. Additionally, vampires will not be able to equip Dawnbreaker.

The effects of this mod is accomplished by a small script that runs whenever you equip an item that checks if the equipped item is silver and if you’re a vampire/werewolf. If you are, it applies a magic effect to you that causes constant, configurable damage.

You can configure the damage you take from equipping silver items or Dawnbreaker by adjusting the settings in the MCM menu.

ESP is flagged as ESL so it doesn't use up a slot in your load order.

For the time being, this mod only affects the player and not NPCs. I may change this in the future but I have no real plans to do so since NPCs wouldn't have alternative weapons to use instead.

Compatibility:
This should be compatible with pretty much anything including mods that add more silver items as long as they add their items to the appropriate formlists.
I have also added additional compatibility with Reliquary of Myth to avoid double damage when holding Dawnbreaker. My damage can still be enabled on top of it if you really want that extra damage.

Thank You

I’d like to thank PowerOfThree for helping me with writing the script as I had no prior experience with it. I’d also like to credit Aixcalibur because I learned a lot from looking at the source scripts he used in Lorica. I'd also like to thank VictorF for helping me with the MCM.
