Thank you so much for this!! Simple, but one of my favourite mods. I'm playing a stealth archer build, and that massive "DONK" every time I do a stealth kill was doing my head in. I would endorse it multiple times if I could.
I have to say I am having absolutely zero luck with this mod. No Combat Screams works fine and dandy, so I am silent voiced, but every time I throw a punch at the empty air, everyone within like 40ft of me can hear it.
uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and looking in SSEEdit there seem to be no other mods interacting regarding the sneak attack sound. Its mind melting as I have been fiddling with on and off last 3 days or so. Really trying to get my way of the month Silent fisticuffs build working.
I think you misunderstood the point of this mod. It does not make your actions silent to characters in the game. It simply removes the annoying "donk" sound that plays when you make a sneak attack. It's for player sanity, not for player cheating.
Hmm, I'm looking for a way to get rid of this same sound which plays when cooking food, '"THUD-THUD-THUD". Oh my gosh. Have to turn the sound down when cooking at the moment.
I have many mods installed, including an audio overhaul; is this the reason I can't get this mod to work? Have I missed something? It's such a great looking mod, and if I'm being honest, the sneak kill BOOM sound is almost like a jumpscare sometimes, so I would really love to get this mod to work. First time posting, a Q on a modpage :)
I absolutely cannot play this game with that thud noise. Is there any way you could please port this to Xbox? Or can I use this sound file to attempt to make a mod myself? Haven't made one before...
No. I believe it's just for the sneak attack critical sound. If you want to get rid of screaming, get the mod No Combat Screams: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7102/? I use it and it's wonderful.
