I recall eggshells actually having some use in magic traditionally so it wouldn't be out of place for them to have at least one worthwhile effect as an ingredient. just a matter of taste I suppose :) Great looking mod, I've been using Chicken Butthurt Sensitizer and Harvest Chicken Butthurt Sensitizer, and it works really well. The extra immersion from breaking eggs.. well I think I'll need an omelette recipe!
If using True Skyrim, either place this mod below it, or more likely because True Skyrim is a late loader, just hide/delete Meshes/plants folder in True Skyrim.
Is it safe to assume that this can this be used as a simple retexture mod by removing the ESP?
EDIT: Tested it. Yes, it can be. The only reason why I asked is because I've seen mod creators change file structure before to ensure that their creation doesn't get overwritten. This is especially true when the included ESP changes the object in a significant way.
They do. I have both in my build with no issues, both in Oldrim, and in a self port of this mod to SSE - It is just a matter of what you allow to overwrite for the appearance of the eggs and nest, as the broken eggs have their own models (and some minor editing in xEdit if I recall correctly)
I believe if you install my mod first, then the other mod after it, it should work alright. I don't believe that mod edits the egg as an ingredient (which I did in the esp to allow it to be splatted) or the textures, just the meshes for the nest. So my retexture won't retexture the other mod's nests, but the ingredient eggs will be retextured and egg-splatting features will remain largely the same.
I didn't realize this mod has a esp and it wrote over my original spider eggs mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11110. To make things worse, the spider eggs in Better And Breakable don't release spiders when you hit them because I tried and now I can't delete it because of the esp. Wonderful!!!

Best regards!
5 bounty added and Lydia acts like I was hitting her directly lmao...
You didn't have to do this, but you did, and here we are.
Does this effect the LARGE spider eggs then as well ?

I feel like these two mods together are the perfect immersive duo
