I love this mod. It adds a much needed revamp of the hold capital.
However, it does have a compatibility issue with the Tundra Homestead for AE. If there is a fix, or a patch available somewhere, that would be helpful.
this mod is still my favorite. even though there's whiterun metropolis out there, i still do not want to use that one instead of this, because this one gave me the feeling of being a real part of whiterun outskirts much more than metropolis. and yet, the fact that i can't use this with capital whiterun expansion is really holding it back. i hope someday you make a patch for CWE, because that would be great. and its really not that much work, as there's a small clipping issue near jorvaskaer only, and the rest of the mod is safe.
Is this true even with the exterior version of Capital Whiterun? The goal of the exterior version is for it to have the maximum compatibility with other overhauls mods that affect the outside of Whiterun.
I guess that answers my question about compatibility between the two. I'm going to hazard a guess that the conflict is around the gate entrance added by Jorrvaskr. I'm going to throw my vote in for a patch, just so the author knows there is some interest in this.
I believe if anybody use BOTH these huge overhaul mods, it will super break his build/game. Also, not mention the ultra-heavy area, the incredible FPS loss... So... pick one and use that one, my opinion.
It's a simple-sounding fix. The interior terrain of whiterun behind jorvaskr in Capital cities, is Covered by the exterior terrain mesh of WExpRedone. All that needs to be done is for someone to fix that mesh in the interior only somehow. But I know cities don't work like rooms, since they are to scale to the world...

I see that heleana already got banned but for anyone else wondering; having both modes don't break your game at all and I assume since they are located in different regions on the map, it doesn't affect the performance even in my dated GTX 1650ti. The only problem is that with the two mods combined, the door near Jorvaskr (added by this mod) is blocked by a wall (from Capital WE)
All it should take is removing or editing that one ground mesh in the Whiterun world space. it's outside the city walls regularly but covers over one of the new districts added by capital Whiterun expansion. maybe also move the gate to the side a bit since it doesn't really make physical sense of with the district there, but that's more of an immersion problem than gameplay.

Will there ever be a patch for Whiterun Capital Expansion by Surjame? When I use this one with their mod it creates a mish-mash area with the whiterun hills overlapping parts of their created space.
Big conflict with creation club/Anniversary edition addon "Tundra Homestead" it edits the same areas and a few buildings clip into the house. Other than some clipping issues, it seems to work fine. Will need update for AE.

Yes, I had applied the Waterflow script.
I won't do any compatibility patches. But, everybody is free to do compatibility patches without my permission.
The permissions of the mod are fully open now.
I don't use any longer this mod. So, I won't update it. If you want to improve it or support it. Just PM me, I will grant you the admin rights.
