All I want is for skills to not raise your character level. I think skill use should increase a skill; I just figure having separate tracks means just that.
Hey LateWait, nice mod you got there. I was wondering if you could make it so, speech, lock-picking, smithing and alchemy can still be leveled up normally please? (As an optional file) I think combat/magic can be cheesy in vanilla.. but the non combat skills are pretty nice as is.
Did you know that you can alter the Player form to add your perk? =) This is a way how do same things in Fallout 3/4. More than that, you could change one of vanilla player's perks, for instance, PerkSkillBoosts. Anyway, the idea is good, reminds me, SLATE for Morrowind.
Update: 1. Using Entry Point "Mod Skill Use" is non-viable option, because its breaks training, when the value is 0. 2. I did some research to fix Skyrim Uncapper bug with lockpicking. The easiest way I have found is to update next Game Settings variables and set their values to zero: fSkillUsageLockPickBroken, fSkillUsageLockPickVeryEasy, fSkillUsageLockPickEasy, fSkillUsageLockPickAverage, fSkillUsageLockPickVeryHard, fSkillUsageLockPickHard.

And do skill trainers still work?
