Version 1.5 is officially out. I have placed the beta tag on it because I will not have the time to extensively test it over the next week but from limited testing everything seems to function absolutely fine and it should not cause problems. With version 1.5 followers should no longer go insane when walking around Snowhawk, thanks to the kindness of Tarlazo, who liked the mod enough to send me a navmeshed version while I was away. Other small changes (and a small little addition) are listed in the download section.

    Thanks

Very creative, very inspiring. I could see a "rebuild" mod coming from this project. I wonder where I would start. The inn, probably.

Just a brief notification for anyone who cares: Seasons of Skyrim will interpret the Snowhawk banner as a "snow" variant of all banners (kind of funny, but reasonable once you think about it). So come winter all banners in effected areas will be swapped for the Snowhaw flag (they will return to normal in spring).

P.S. Love this interpretation of Hjaalmarch history btw; it really explains why Morthal is such a dump (just a suburb of Snowhawk that rose in importance following a refugee crisis)

I was wondering why all the banners suddenly changed.

Now that's a neat little mod--though it makes me curious if Snowhawk wasn't just the Arena name for Morthal. The location on the Arena map is more in-line with the fort, but Morthal isn't present at all. Could it be that the city was governed from the fort?

Speculations aside, I'll be checking this out, but I am not sure how I feel about the north wall that curves inwards.

Good question. Way I see it, since Snowhawk is in ruins, and Morthal is just a glorified village, it could be that they just decided to start a new town rather than fix Snowhawk. Silly as it is, it's the only reasonable explanation.

My understanding of the history of Hjaalmarch is that Snowhawk was the old capital of Hjaalmarch, until it was destroyed. At that point, the seat of power shifted to Morthal.

Why did you take down this mod off the Bethesda Website?

It never was on Bethesda's website--if it was then someone uploaded it posing as me.

I'd love to see a version of this that was actually intact and lived in by NPCs :)

Hi! I love the look of this mod and would love to have it in my game. Is it possible that you could port this over to the Xbox?

This is great! I love how you included a ruined Mages Guild hall in the town! One thing I'd suggest though is adding some kind of access (like a gate arch) to the fort yard, because going around feels a bit counter-intuitive, whereas jumping the wall is just tedious.

Like the last comment says, seems like a hidden gem. Only thing that comes up when you search 'Snowhawk' too.

This mod looks so awesome!! I'm gonna try it to see if it's compatible with the Marshlands mod :)

Was it? If the only incompatibility is clipping, both use vanilla assets so any offending tree or structure can probably be removed via console commands. That's how you make Riverwood Forest and ETAC play nice so I don't see why it wouldn't work for this.
