With 1.4 the trough meshes are a hard requirement now. If you do not download the file, your Sky Forges will not show water correctly.
As of 7/16/23 there is now a Synthesis Patcher available as an alternative for xEdit, or for those who just like to move as much as they can into Synthesis.
This is a great project, but as a Chinese player when I made the patch and found that the characters in Syntesis esp have a lot garbled codes, any suggestions?
Excellent mod. It's a staple in my load order. Used it again today after (removing some old plugins) and all my troughs have perfect water once more. Thanks for this!
I downloaded, installed and verified that the meshes were replaced, and in the correct folder. Because I use RWT, I installed the RWT patch. I installed the script into SSEEdit I ran the script, it seemed to work flawlessly. In game, all the water troughs were empty. Or so I thought. The water is so transparent I can barely see it.
Did I do something wrong? Is this super transparency intentional? Do I need to alter some settings somewhere? Link to Imgur Pics
I'm not sure how well ENB works with these meshes. If someone wants to provide meshes that work better with ENB then I'll add them in as an alternative option.
I had the same issue, but with Simplicity of Sea (and no ENB). Disabling the mod's plugin made the water visible again. The plugin only edits water types, so I tried changing the properties of HorseTroughWater01 back to the vanilla values (from Update.esm), and that worked.
I also noticed that the water mesh for the Skyforge is a bit too small, but increasing the scale made the corners stick out, so made a version based on the vanilla mesh that fits perfectly. If you are interested, I can upload it so you can include it in the mod.
Hello! For years everything worked well, and now suddenly this pops up. What can be wrong? Also, for some reason, the script doesn't work with the troughs in the basements from the HearthFires add-on.
This mod adds new objects on top of the existing forges and does not replace anything. I do not think base object swapper would be helpful in this instance.
Love your mod, but you should change the description page to let people know the meshes are required. I know this is redundant, because you have a sticky on the comments section that says precisely that, but lots of people just rely on the description and don't bother reading the comments section. Kudos, great work!

Please help.
I am using Rudy ENB if that matters.

Water(less) Trough Mesh (the trough, the whole trough, and nothing but the trough)
Thank you xD <3-luf
