i always bothered by the amount and size of the stars in my game, they looks too big and distracting for me, so i made this texture. and why not share it? this is my first mod release so please be nice 

This mod contains my own stars texture, and edited vanilla constellation textures.
also added optional galaxy texture from 8K Night Skies - Stars and Galaxies - Cathedral Concept i only edited the alpha channel so the transition between stars and galaxy looks more seamless.  you can also use that mod or other galaxy mod of your choice as long as you overwrite the stars and constellation texture with my mod, i only prefer this edited version and use it in my game myself.

in my screenshots you can see the comparison between cathedral night skies+its stars and cathedral night skies(edited)+small stars.
some star texture mod actually change the sky color, and usually it makes the moon looks a bit weird imo, because the dark part of the moon will looks darker than the sky. with my stars texture, moon's darkside is the same color as the sky, like how it was in vanilla (look at my screenshots for comparison)

technically my stars would be compatible with everything as long as you overwrite everything when installing.
stars resolution is 1k (it's only stars, wouldn't make any visible difference with bigger resolution) and the galaxy is 8k, all uses bc7 compression

screenshots are taken with Natural and atmospheric tamriel enb (i dont know how it would look without enb or other enb/weather but you can try)
