Is there a way to completely ban the "corpse resurrection" system in the game? Many times I ran into bugs where I had to rely on corpses to complete tasks. please! !
Why only 60 seconds for the best spell? Feel like that's what most people are looking for...permanently being able to raise the dead of anything at any level permanently until you decide to kill it...
There're already a number of mods which do that to the base game's dead thrall spell, one which I like in particular being Better Dead Thralls, which also has several other useful features: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10756
that is exactly why i usually don't bother trying to level conjuration. i just don't want to waste my magicka reanimating a random draugr for 60 seconds mid-combat when the fight is going to be over within seconds anyway, and the zombie is just going to die while i'm walking to the next room. but never occurred to me that you could just have permanent thrall spells limited by level
This mod previously didn't allow for raising Draugr with my thrall spells (it retained the base game's Dead Thrall person-only limitation) - I've now added a version which removes the person-only limitation on my spells. (Although, I definitely disagree with you on raise spells being useless in the base game - as far as I can tell, raised characters seem to do the same damage against your enemies as they would do against you, which means on harder difficulties they're extremely effective when your attacks and defences are reduced by the difficulty damage scaling. If that isn't the case and I just imagine it, then they still act as good distractions for your enemies, more so than atronachs since atronachs don't tend to fight in melee distance.)
I'd recommend using Better Dead Thralls for that: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10756 Not only does it remove the level cap and the no creatures limitation, it also lets you trade with your dead thrall, force them to equip what you want, track them when they get lost, and many other useful features. If you don't want any of those extra features, there are other mods on the nexus which remove the level cap and creature limitation, such as https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11589
I agree with the other poster.I like THIS mod because it adds lower level Thralls. That is something the other mods you linked do not do. They are master level spells only.
I would like to resurrect any body to fight for me permanently, but only up to a certain level, LESS than what you can resurrect a normal body. This is for balance reasons. I would love an undead wolf or fox, or something of that sort to fight with me. Undead pets are awesome. But I would like to equip this Thrall if I want with armor and weapons, keeping them updated like a follower.
Oh, so are you saying you want this mod to have the humans-only limitation removed? Okay, I have now done this. Although I don't understand what you mean by "I would like to equip this Thrall if I want with armor and weapons, keeping them updated like a follower" - do you mean you want Better Dead Thralls style thrall inventory management, but for my level-limiting mod? That'd be beyond what I'd be able to do.
