It's been a while since I've been here, and I can see there are quite a lot of conflicts. I took an extended break from modding after my weather mod broke me again, but I'm back, and managed to get that mod completed. Once I've taken a little time to get caught back up with this mod, I'll see if there is anything I can do to make it play friendlier with other mods.
No promises on anything, but I'll see if I can give Saadia some love here soon :)
The mod no longer works. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, even added that AI patch in the recommendeds. The prompt to follow or marry won't pop up.
It's cool to find a mod making her be undoubtedly innocent, as the story she blabbers about is utter nonsense in regards of lore (The Alik'r working for the THALMOR?? b&@*$, have you heard of how they fucked the Dominion so hard in the ass back in Hammerfel that the province gained its independance? And now they would work for them, after having been butchered and fighting so hard to regain freedom?? Come on.). I've been desperately, in every game, trying to twist my mind so that I wouldn't give her to Kematu, but man, she wasn't making any sense at all... Now I'll at least have good logical reasons to trust the ''pretty face'' Kematu talks about TwT
Thanks a lot! I recruited Eola as a follower and her interaction voice acting was different from her usual voice. After some google search I found another mod but that didn't fix the issue, the optional file in this one does!
On the other hand, I can't believe this wasn't fixed by USSEP
Looking at the files in the Creation Kit and the BSA Browser, the full version and the fix-only version both have the same follower dialogue .fuz files in the sound folder, but it seems that the full version points to different filenames in the DialogueFollower quest that controls follower dialogue, so no sound plays. Weird.
I did the quest siding with her, got the whole "There may be more coming for you" line, but no further dialogue to prompt her to follow me other than "what's on the menu?"
I want to mention that this is a great concept. With so few Redguard followers in the game I wondered who was really telling the truth sometimes. I couldn't just continue to be forced to be told she betrayed her people. The only constructive criticism, and it is through assumption is the pacing. This quest unlocks in vanilla as soon as you return from slaying the dragon. There isn't any clue in game where to find the evidence. If it wasn't for the add item function I would have had to wait to go to the Embassy to read the dossier. Solitude is accessible, the letter could be placed somewhere in that building. Again I am assuming that is where the items are. Put it on the Redguard prisoner, break into the cell and get it off him dead or alive. Again Idk the full workings of your vision and I understand that you are not active. If you come across this comment, and I am on the right train of thought. Take this into consideration.
Why in the world would Saadia be innocent? the Aldmeri have always been able to win fights without the assistance of individuals, so why would they go out of their way to hire Alik'r warriors, whom the Thalmor would loath. The Thalmor themselves had their justiciar in Skyrim anyway.
Even though Kematu lied to you about Redguard resistance and other matters. The Second Treaty of StosM'Kai has been in force for 15 years, there aren't any Thalmor or other Aldemeri forces in Hammerfell.
Kematu is a Thalmor asset. He and other Hammerfell citizens may be internally interfering with Hammerfell politics to weaken them internally. This mod plays to the you believed that Saadia spoke out against the Dominion and they marked her for death. Kematu was sent to kill her and botched it. He was given a "second" chance but will be silenced after his successful mission.
Imo, this makes more sense in a playthrough where you are actively trying to oppose the Thalmor.
To bad mod author is MIA fair enough life is like that, good mod just wish it would work mid quest. Couldn't get the dialogue to work had to console her way into being a follower, but don't know if that actually fixes it or if I miss dialogue that makes her less generic as a follower also it seems the merchant side of her doesn't really work. At least not when installing mid playthrough, which sucks cause the idea is cool.

Did you install it mid playthrough or made a new game and rebuilt the bashed patch?
