Im pretty sure the problem it has is that it expects the esp files to have no record header (or an esm header) so when it sees that it has this strange thing call an "ESL' as its header it freaks out and goes "woah woah woah my dudes I think this files corrupt"
When you patch this way, have you found significant issues in your game? I am considering installing this for my next backseat gaming character with my wife, but I need to know if the patcher functions enough for a mage/wayfarer build. I don't care about the warrior trees.
Removing the "light" flag finally got the patcher working after fighting with the following error for a few hours: "skyproc.exceptions.MissingMaster: The plugin 'PerkusMaximus_Warrior.esp' has missing masters: -'PerkusMaximus_Master.esp' is loaded after the mod depending on it" Thanks!
Since the as-yet-to-be-updated patcher creates a Patchus Maximus based on Oldrim form 43s, has anyone checked if loading and saving the PatchusMaximus.esp in CK64 doesn't solve errors, break things or something?
I know nothing about Perkus Maximus so i have one stupid question if someone can answer me please: is there any way to use only perk overhaul without a use of patcher? thanks in advance!
As far as I know, Vokrii (ID: 26176) does not need a patch, and it's very similar to perkus maximus in not feeling overpowered while leveling, I personally used Perkus Maximus all the years (4 almost 5) I played with LE, and I switch to vokrii for the SE
I'm not sure if this is the right spot to ask this but does this patch work as a compatibility patch for perma and immersive armors? I would like to run them both but in Skyrim LE I know you needed a compatibility patch, is this still the case?
i have an issue when i rune the patcher it says sexlab missing masters i removed sexlab and now its another mod missing masters and so on i cant run the patcher and the atack speed is extremly low ,mod wont work without runing the patcher who keep givingme missing master errors of other mods thats not related to perkus at all , any suggestions , i know this is an old issue but this is my first time using perkus and i cant get it to work
Patchus Maximus has a hard time referencing ESP's against masters. Disable the ESP of EVERY patch, no matter how seemingly insignificant, and you should be OK. All the 20+ USSEP, CRF and Legacy of the Dragonborn patches must have their ESP's turned off before the patcher will run.
Would be very nice if somebody could make a zEdit version of the patch. Sadly, I think that would require more knowledge of the mod than even T3NDO probably still has.

Open Vortex, go to Plugins tab.
Sort flags by Light. Click every one and mark not light.
Run the patcher.
Apparently the patcher can't handle the long names when plugins are set to light.
perkusmaximus_mage.esp has missing master
