Caenraes version = technically formatted for LE usage where every feature is included in a single plugin which are:
- Forge availability / craftability for all variants - Leveled-list integration
kitwitissues version = offers 3 different plugins which are:
1. Forge Fodder - only makes all variants craftable/temperable at the forge
2. Leveled-list with world edits - same as no. 1 above with:
-- additional leveled-list integration
-- Worldspace edits; wherein any Elven sword or greatsword that can be found in the world (based on skyrim.esm or vanilla plugins I presume) are now randomized by the variants.
3. Immersive Weapons Integration = same as no. 2 but: -- this needs the Immersive Weapon Integration mod made by kitwitissues
Gonna try a summary here:
If you want a...
...standalone that only adds variants as craftable/temperable in the forge? = use kitwit's Forge Fodder
...standalone that adds variants in the forge and have leveled-list integration and nothing else? = use Caenraesversion
...standalone that adds forge craftability, leveled-list feats with a bonus worldspace loot randomization for elven sword and GS? = kitwit's Leveled-list with world edits
...standalone and you have or want to try Immersive Weapon Integration and wanna use this mod as well with every feature as stated before this line? = use kitwit's Immersive Weapons Integration
I'm not 100% sure if you can upgrade from kitwit's Forge Fodder to LL with World edits, so to be safe, stick with one plug-in per character run
Hope this helps, and I'm gonna copy this now and paste it in the description for clarity so many thanks for asking as well!
Thank you for the detailed explanation! I noticed your mods have fairly open permissions, but I wanted to know if I culd use your meshes to create variants for aMidianborn Content Addon. I'd probably need to copy your meshes or attempt texture sets with weapon meshes, but figured I'd ask on this too. Thanks for your great work!
These blades are gorgeous and have a permanent slot in my load order since they came out, thank you!
Just a question, for the Mystic Elven Blades - Replacer Pack file, do I need to install the Oldrim Mystic Elven mod, convert it to SE, then apply your mod over it? It looks obvious, but I've tried with the Mystic Elven mod on Bethesda.net and it didnt work.
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, but afaik one would need to convert them over to SE and apply over the one from this mod. The basis of the texture path is the one from LE (meshes>weapons>Mystic), and I'm afraid I'm not aware what changes the one in Bethesda.net have been made. You can do a manual installation and look for the similar texture files from the Bethesda.net if they were reallocated (or renamed) somehow, and copy the ones from this mod into the newly found files that needs to be replaced for the Mystic models. Hope this helps, and glad you liked the mod! Thanks!
Hi! Which version of the sword do you wish to use? Are you referring to both of the 1-handed and 2-handed Alternate Curved version, or just the 2-handed greatsword of the Curved version?
Oooooh, I guess the curved version with the black grip is the 2 handed sword, If so im sorry, my dumb ass thought it was an another version of the 1 handed
- If you're just using the replacer files, check if you have loose .nif files in your Data>meshes>weapons>elven and try replacing them with one of the main files manually.
- If you're using the stand-alone files, check your load order and bring the plugin of this mod further down the list.
*Also, try disabling all of your mods temporarily (create a backup of your plugins.txt as well to be sure or your plugin load order if you use a mod manager) and leave the standalone plugin, create a new game (or get one of those save files that skips the intro and load it), then get the sword or gs thru the console to see if does change. If it doesn't, see the second suggestion about the loose files inside your main Skyrim directory.
Thanks! If you used the standalone only version then it can be forged, but under the name Thalmor sword or Thalmor Greatsword. I'll upload a fix for this and a fomod installer sometime soon with the fixed weapon name.

Many thanks again!
Which mods should I install if I want a standalone version
Thank you for your help :3
Sorry about the confusion; everything you might need should be in the AIO installer which is now the only main file.
Thanks as well!

edit: so i used the fomod and it replaced the swords so i don't know why it didn't work for you

Thanks for bringing this up!
