    Hello there!
    I'll update YeOlde - Papyrus for AE soon (before Christmas, depends of my RL job) and I'll take some time to test my other mods to ensure everything is working as intended.
    Don't expect a huge update, but if I find a bug that I can fix fast, I'll do it for sure.

    P.S. If you want to use the YeOlde - Cheats patch, you have to update YeOlde - Papyrus, YeOlde - Cheats and YeOlde - Crafting Bag to the latest version (!!!).

    Cheers!

    Hi! I'm new to this mod. I haven't played for years and thought I was stupid. I don't see anything going into my crafting bag. I came here to see what I'm doing wrong...but it appears I'm not the only one? I got a power, and set my hotkey, but just nothing happens.  I am not sure what to do, because I'd love to use this mod. Thanks!

    Installs correctly and gives me a power in-game, along with an MCM, but the bag doesn't automatically take crafting materials into it, and I can't add them manually because I get a message in the top-left of my screen that says "You cannot add that item in this container".

    It's a shame because this is a cool idea, it's just not working right now.

      Got the same issue unfortunately.
      EDIT: But if worked again when I installed the previous version of the YeOlde - Papyrus mod instead of the one with the AE patch included.

      larsy what Skyrim version are you running? 1.597 or 1.6+?

      Am on 1.6.640 and I still have same "can't put in container" issue even if I use Ye Olde Papyrus 1.1.3 or older 1.1.2.

      Same issue, no fixes work... I think the mod is just broken from lack of support

    I get lag spikes when finishing up speaking with normal NPCs(not merchants). When checking my papyrus log I get this snippet:
    [12/23/2022 - 02:27:41AM] [yeolde_craftingbag_player <alias player_alias on quest yeolde_craftingbag_quest2 (F30A7986)>]::OnMenuClose -> Dialogue Menu
    [12/23/2022 - 02:27:41AM] [yeolde_craftingbag_player <alias player_alias on quest yeolde_craftingbag_quest2 (F30A7986)>]::OnMerchantDialogueEnd
    [12/23/2022 - 02:27:41AM] [yeolde_craftingbag_player <alias player_alias on quest yeolde_craftingbag_quest2 (F30A7986)>]::StoreAllCraftingItems
    [12/23/2022 - 02:27:46AM]   [yeolde_craftingbag_player <alias player_alias on quest yeolde_craftingbag_quest2 (F30A7986)>]::StoreAllCraftingItems -> 0 items stored in crafting bag
    [12/23/2022 - 02:27:46AM] [yeolde_craftingbag_player <alias player_alias on quest yeolde_craftingbag_quest2 (F30A7986)>]::IncreaseEncumbrance(False)

    The same lag doesn't happen when I actually unload items from the crafting bag at merchants, that is smooth and instant, but exiting a conversation with merchants lags just as long, even if I actually do store items in the crafting bag with them.

      the problem seems mostly to be when enabling the Cooking Ingredients part of the mcm, that’s also where the crafting list takes a long tile to update.
      i do seem to have another issue where when I use the grindstone, the game extracts the items, but deposits them again a second before I get into the upgrade UI.

    Completely doesn't work for me. I'm in VR and really want to use this because it seems to be one of the only mods that is listed as compatible for VR, but the crafting bag doesn't automatically take any ingredients and when I use the power it says "Can't add <item> to this container" and returns it to my inventory. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

      I have the same problem. Evidently Papyrus isn't updated or something, because the crafting bag isn't working AT ALL. It sits there empty, and never takes any items into its inventory no matter what you do... use a crafting station, fast travel, whatever... nothing makes it start working. Sad to uninstall. Really wanted to use this.

      Sorry for the delay... Looks like another mod is blocking this feature for you.
      I (was) playing VR and everything worked as intended on my side.
      I'll update the 'YeOlde - Papyrus' mod soon, I'll test the crafting bag again to check if something changed since last update.

    great mod idea!
    Using the latest AE and it still got that " you can't put xy into the container" errors.
    i GUESS it might be the papyrus.dll still, but could not check yet.

    I'd love to use this mod , but it looks like YeOlde - Papyrus has a DLL and hasn't been updated in a while. Are you considering adding AE support?

    In the skse64.log, I just see:

    checking plugin YeOldePapyrus.dll
    plugin YeOldePapyrus.dll (00000000  00000000) no version data 0 (handle 0)

    Usually means that while it doesn't cause a CTD, it's not working, since there's no handle.

      I've compiled Skyrim Papyrus for AE, but did not test it (don't have AE version).
      If you test it, can you confirm it works now?

      Thanks!

      I installed Crafting Bag today, but it doesn't seem to work. I am playing AE with SKSE, German client.
      Installed the latest YeOlde - Papyrus with optional dll for Anniversary Edition.
      Because of another mod I also have powerofthree's Papyrus Extender for Anniversary Edition installed - could this cause the problem?
      My issues are:

      • No items are put to the bag automatically.
      • When I try to add items manually I get a message that this item cannot be added (enabled all craft bag content options in MCM).

      Looks like Papyrus is the problem, but I don't have AE to test it.
      I'll check if I missed something and recompile it.

      I had this same thing happen and I am on 1.5.97. Nothing will go into the bag on its own. When I try to hand place crafting items in the bag I get a message "You can't put XXXXX in the crafting bag".

      Damn shame too. I play a Dwemer and that scrap gets to be unwieldy after a while :(

    Sadly this mod doesn't work for me. Picked up ingredients dont go into the bag and when I try to add them there manually I keep getting error saying "Can't add X to the container". (I am not using CACO)

    This looks like a perfect solution to having all your crafting ingredients available wherever you want to craft.   I do use CACO and see that it is not compatible because the alchemy activators are managed by that mod.   And I see that you can manage what is handled by this mod in MCM.   So I have a question - can you disable all alchemy ingredients in the MCM without blacklisting each one individually.

    If so then I could use this for everything except alchemy and then use something like Automatic Item Storage for alchemy only (You decide what containers get used, what items get stored, and what crafting stations to link).  I could then have one container for alchemy ingredients and link it to up to 25 alchemy stations (it works with CACO).   Not a perfect solution, but if it might work then I need this mod yesterday!!!

      Decided to go ahead and give this a try.

      1.  It does work with CACO.  There is an issue where you get an annoying message that can be ignored at an alchemy bench, but other than that it is fine. This is still hands down a far better solution than cloud storage or automated linked storage, both of which have limitations.

      2.  It is not consistent in recognizing soul gems in the crafting bag at an enchanting station.  Sometimes it sees all of them and sometimes not.  It appears to work better on hearthfire homes.   You can blacklist high level soul gems and carry some with you as a work around.  And you can modav carry weight to account for carrying a little extra weight for the soul gems.  So while it is quirky, it is not fatal.

      3.  It does not work with a staff enchanter at all.  It does not see Heartstones, precious gems, ingots or anything you need to make an unenchanted stave.  That is not fatal - you can open your bag and pull out what you need which is a lot better than storage in a chest that you have travel to at some player home.

      4.  It does not play nicely with a follower mod for merchants NPC followers when managed by AFT.  If you try to access tweaks on a follower with this enabled it will pretty much freeze and not allow you to get to secondary dialogue choice.  You can disable the mod with a hot key prior to talking to the follower and everything works as right as rain.  After that re-enable.   (My carry weight goes to 32,000 plus when talking to a follower merchant with AFT, so it needs to be in a safe spot.)  Using that workaround is not a big deal.

      5.   At all other crafting stations it works flawlessly - you just have to be patient because it takes a brief bit of time for everything to load up - that is a game limitation and not an issue with this mod.

      I played ESO from beta until just a month ago - I sure appreciate the craft bag like we had there.  Thank you for this mod.

    Amazing mod, I love everything about it. Unfortunately, it runs kinda slow with the absurd number of crafting supplies I have, and seems to conflict with some other mods. I was hoping to get to use it on a different mod setup and was wondering what kinds of mods I should avoid, or if there is anything else I could do to get this mod to run smoother. Also, would there be a way for me to get the bag to allow the master sorter token from dynamic auto sorting, so it redistributes my crafting supplies to the other token locations. Then I could use general stores' auto retrieve function to grab my supplies from storage(it runs a bit smoother). Though, I'll likely need to disable the bags auto-store function somehow, or just toggle the bag off if that works. Mostly just want to know what to do to get it running well on a different mod profile, but other stuff would help too. I love the mod regardless though, thank you.
    It's not even that slow really. Craftloot for LOTD is way worse.
