Is there an item ID code for the 'empowered diagram'? Last game I was lucky to find one level 12, this time I finished most main quests still looking for it... and the console command help 'empowered diagram' does nothing but cause confusion.
For-friggin-ever I have looked for a mod like this! Yes, and thank you! I use Ordinator to console in the witchmaster spell that eliminates fall damage, but couldn't find anything that would boost jumping for all characters until now.
Could you have 1 file for those who want to test the jumping boots right away and another separate file where you have to find the Empowered Diagrams too craft the tome? Can you only craft the tome or can you also craft the enchanted boots (I'm totally fine with only being able to craft magic tome myself)? I was killing humanoid NPC for 20 minutes but did not get any empowered diagrams, so I console commanded enough empowered diagrams to craft.
The Empowered Diagrams should start appearing from lvl 23 (I think) onwards in reward chests etc., not from NPC death loot. Boots require material (steel, leather, and leather strips) and 1 Diagram, while the Tome requires 6 Diagrams. Arcane Blacksmith perk is needed to make the recipes appear at the forge.
This is an OP item/spell, so I figured that making a RP obtaining method means the Diagrams should be relatively rare. Thus they will not drop from NPC's (I might add them to dragons later if the current drop rate is too low). Those that just want the boots/spell can use the console to give as many Diagrams as needed.
New version uploaded which should be compatible with open city mods. Feedback on rate of discovery for the Empowered Diagrams is appreciated. i.e. after level 23 are you finding any or thousands? Thanks!
I'll look into picking a new location, though I like the idea of finding a crafting recipe. I've never been very good at coming up with quests for the items I want in-game. the main reason I made the boots was for "mountain climbing" and removing the small jump/ fall damage limitations.
Awesome mod, but could you make a file where the spell and the boots are harder to get? -Like on the top of the College of Winterhold perhaps? -Inside the Proudspire Manor? -Or in a sunken ship deep in the Sea of Ghost (or maybe just a chest), while the chest has master lock on it (this option would have no conflict with other mods that change area).
Thank You! Really love the jumping-power, but is there a way to make it compatible with Open Cities? Had to leave Whiterun, save, disable Open Cities, load save, enter Whiterun to get the boots, leave again to save, enable Open Cites again, reload.... :( Maybe just adding a crafting recipe could do the trick!? At least thats what i did with my game - needs ingredients for steel boots plus filled grand soulgem. Steel made the most sense for me, as blades boots aren't craftable, but you also need steel ingots for tempering. Oh, and you need the arcane blacksmith perk because you are crafting an enchanted item.
