This mod has been merged into my "Small Replacers" all-in-one, check it out here to save some plugin slots. All screenshots were taken with a slightly tweaked Rudy ENB in LE.
I will no longer offer patches for these small replacers, it's simply getting too much to keep up with. I (usually) have patches available for these NPCs over on the AIO merge mod page.
I want to try out the Malora replacer because that picture of her is absolutely gorgeous, but I'm running into problems. Where can I get her that outfit and circlet, and how do I get Serana to have those lovely features?
You've been downloading the wrong file if it's Malora you want, she is a separate download found under 'optional files'.
I'm a little confused about your comment though, you say you want Malora and not Serana, but you want Serana to have the features? I'll explain what the differences are and maybe we can go from there.
Serana is an existing character from the game, and this mod (the file you've downloaded) changes her appearance to what is seen in my images. Appearance only, no outfits or anything else is touched. Malora is not a replacer because the character doesn't exist in the game, she is a new added follower with the same appearance as this Serana, mainly intended for people who want a character with this look but are using another visual replacer for Serana.
If what you want is to not edit Serana's appearance at all but still want Malora, you just uninstall the Serana you have downloaded and installed from here, and download Malora instead. If you want both of them with this look, then you keep Serana and just install Malora. If you need further help let me know, but first make sure you read the mod description fully
Thanks for the quick and friendly response. I was under the impression that you could make Serana look like Malora after seeing this video: https://youtu.be/idopmhLDgsA?si=DkaD65eX7OiZicNs It would seem I was mistaken. And as for Malora's clothes--where can I find them? Are they in a different mod?
Well they look exactly the same, that's the point ;) The video you linked just seems to showcase the Malora follower from this mod - but if I understand correctly you want Serana to look like in my screenshots. You just have to download the Serana file from this mod (not Malora) and install as normal. If you have issues with her face turning dark like you mentioned in your other comment, it means you have a mod conflict. It might be solved by installing this afterwards, but it is just a bandaid solution and doesn't actually correct the underlying problem.
As for the outfits, they're different in each picture and they're all from several different mods so if you can specify which image you're talking about I can let you know which mod it is.
donloaded thus mod buT she has left arm even tho second pic of "new versoin" has no elft arm? how can fixed?
just kidding, PHENOMENAL work on the update to Serana Pan, you keep excelling. I'm running both Serana and Malora now, I appreciate that they look slightly different now and am enjoying different eye color / hair style combinations on them :D
Thank you!! I was planning to update Malora too eventually but I'm kind of liking that she's not quite the same, there are more people than I thought that use both of them ^^
This mod is by far the best Serana appearance mod i have ever seen. I will never deinstall this mod because i immediately fell in love with serana after i installed this mod... :D Huge thanks for the creator of this mod!!!! <3
This mod didn't work for me. All that happened was that Serana's face turned black. What did I do wrong? Is there another mod I have to download or something?
load order. make sure you load this after any other mods that change her, including NPC overhauls, Armor and clothes replacers for her or other NPCs, or anything that edits her vanilla records. if you want to check specifics, use SSEEdit to check which mods are editing her records.
Check youtube for an install/usage tutorial for SSEEdit if youre unsure how to use it. I also recommend More Informative Console so that when you inevitably use the console to get Serana's ID its a little simpler.
Thanks, it worked. But I just found out it's the Malora replacer I'm trying to download, so that's what I'm actually going to need help with. Go ahead and leave this alone if you want, though. You're under no obligations or anything.
Do you perhaps have -> Improved Eyes of Skyrim mod has a esp for overriding Serana. (But not Malora). It will conflict with this mod - as well as Pandorable's small AIO esp if you use that instead. Vortex doesn't notice this conflict. Simply disable the Improved Eyes Skyrim - Serana.esp plugin.
So I followed the instructions on how to use the cbbe body and it worked perfectly, the issue is now the pale skin of her face clashes the skin tone of her body. Going to tinker around and try to find a solution though I'm not very skilled at this, anyone else know how to fix it?
EDIT: I uninstalled both the main mod and the CBBE meshes and textures provided in the pinned post on the first page, then I reinstalled the main file, then the secondary, told nexus to load the secondary file last, then I right clicked on the secondary CBBE meshes and textures and chose open file location, I found the .nif files and replaced them with the cbbe .nifs from the body I wanted. Now I have the body I want and the skin tones match. Sorry for being so wordy, I wanted to make sure anyone else with this issue could follow along without a problem. And of course, thank you to the mod author for making a mod so good that I felt the need to tinker until I could have it without issue.
Thank you SOOO much for the step by step - worked like a charm. Though I have been doing this for a very long time, for some reason perfecting Serana has always been just out of reach. But now she is the perfect waifu both inside and out
Just commenting here in case any users get confused - none of this is necessary for v1.3 (or higher) of this mod. If you use an earlier version of this mod which includes a custom UNP body, the above comment might be useful if you want to switch it to CBBE. Again, none of that is necessary with v1.3 (or higher) version of this mod.
I have a CBBE and BnP body substitute, as well as the Modpocalypse NPCs - All Vanilla NPCs mod. Seranu has no arms, ordinary eyes, and his chest is shimmering blue.
Yes v1.3 removes her custom body and if you use any patches made for v1.2 or earlier then that will all break. Same if you use an older version of my small replacers AIO, that will not work with v1.3. If that is the case, I recommend you update the AIO and all it's included mods to avoid things breaking.
I use 3ba body and except for the head the whole body has no texture, only purple color, you wrote from version 1.3 it uses any body used If I move the grids as you wrote in the last message, will it help? upd: download old version
If you have issues with the body when using v1.3, it's because you have patches (or similar) for an earlier version of this mod. The new esp doesn't at all refer to a custom body because none exists in the new version. Using the previous version (like you mentioned) is your best option if you don't update any patches. If you use my Small Replacers AIO that Serana is a part of, it is only compatible with the latest versions of the included mods so that could explain your issue as well. If that's the case, download the updated AIO as well as the latest versions of each included mod
game is overrinding vampire eyes to serana. go to textures/actor/character/eyes find eyevampire_01.dds take backup of it and delete. after this go to textures/pandorable/serana copy eyeserana.dds (blue one) to eyes folder then rename it eyesvampire_01.dds. now she will have gloving blue eyes.
