UPDATE: 9/9/2021: The sword meshes causing CTDs should now be fixed for both files. Also, imperial sword bug is fixed for real this time :)

Overview:

Fills in the gap between vanilla weapons and the amazing Heavy Armory weapon mod by adding longswords to the game.

Stats are in between swords and greatswords; damage, weight, length, stagger, value, etc.
Added to leveled lists such as bandits, guards, vendors, etc.
Longswords are also craftable and temperable, with their respective perks of course. The materials required are a couple of components less than greatswords.
Vanilla weapon retextures are fully compatible - As long as there are no edited meshes with unique texture paths.

Longsword values based off USSEP and WACCF values.
Currently all longswords are 2-handed. Stats are pretty much the average of swords and greatswords, rounded up.
This includes speed, damage and value. Stagger is exact average and crit follows vanilla formula: half damage, rounded down. Reach is only 1 point shorter than greatswords.

There should be a ReadMe included containing of actual stat numbers for each weapon.

Add-ons:

  • aMidianborn Skyforge Steel Weapons Patch: Gives the skyforge steel longsword the unique texture as the rest of the skyforge steel weapons have.
  • Realm of Lorkhan Add-on: Simply places an Iron and Imperial Longsword somewhere in the Realm of Lorkhan. You can keep them if you find them.

Requirements:

  • WACCF is required for the WACCF version of Lovely Longswords. I mean, it's a really amazing mod and, in my opinion, an essential mod that should be in every load order.
  • Vanilla version of Lovely Longswords only requires the base game. All longswords are based off vanilla weapons.
  • The Skyforge Steel Longsword patch requires aMidianborn Skyforge Weapons mod to be installed. This is an Oldrim mod and must be converted. Longsword mesh uses aMidianborn texture path.
  • The Realm of Lorkhan add-on requires the creative and fantastic Realm of Lorkhan Alternative Start mod.

Plans:
A to-do list I'll keep in mind when I have more time in the future - In order of priority:
  • Fix some rediculous collisions on the Daedric Longsword and Nordic Backsword
  • Alter Silver Longsword mesh - It's crossguard looks quite silly compared to the "Better Shaped Weapons" swords...
  • Make current patches .esl instead of .esp to save slots in plugin limit.
  • Create a one-handed version that can be standalone or used with main mod. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!
  • Creating a "bridge" for both 1 and 2 handed versions allowing one to "convert" one version to another.
  • Create a version based off Vanilla stats, therefore not requiring WACCF. For those without it and possibly Xbox. ;)
  • Creating optional Scabbards for the longswords - For both 1 handed and 2 handed. THANK YOU MAELWAS!
  • Creating Dragon-Bling compatible dragonbone longsword. ;)
  • Integrating enchanted versions of the longswords to find in the game.
