Thank you, so much, for this! Works without any issues. The Nightingale set is easily my favorite in the whole game, and would like to use it all the time. Such a dumb oversight by Bethesda not to give you an unenchanted set to fiddle with. The base enchantments don't fit my playstyle, at all.
Hi!!Great job with the "Nightingale clear set" mod!!!.I have a request....I want to remove the mask from my face using the hood. If you can, please give me instructions on how to do it.The Nightingale Hood - Toggleable Mask doesn't work on your mod. Only works on vanilla set.Best regards and waiting for your reply.
You'll need to create a patch that combines the 2 items. Either change the texture of the existing item or create a new item with the maskless texture. I'm not longer in the Skyrim modding scene so I doubt I'll evert make this...
Hey I know you said you aren't in the modding community anymore, but does that mean you won't be able to update this mod with the newest skyrim update? Or is that an easy fix? I'm not sure if this works with the new update or not because I'm afraid of killing my save file lol
This mod has better armor meshes than Craftable Nightingale Done Right mod (props to USSEP of course), albeit not having the Blade and Bow
edit: Huh, actually Unenchanted Items mod does too (+ Revision patch mod). It's a more AIO solution that includes other pieces in the game, and of course include the Nightingale Blade and Bow nvm, it was because I still had this mod installed and its loose files for gauntlet meshes were still winning (dark skin on fingers patch)
In the end I only have that other mod installed, but I'm using the loose files from this mod on my MO2's Overwrite mod I have HIMBO Refits in my mods list, and its Nightingale Gauntlet meshes don't come with USSEP patches, so had to overwrite them (it's an option for me because I'm using zeroed sliders HIMBO build, so the meshes difference, at least for the gauntlets, is negligible)
Turns out you have to check your plugins and make sure it's enabled. Then YOUR CHARACTER must be level 40, not your smithing. I made a dumb mistake so imma leave it here just in case someone has a similar problem :P
Quick question- The Nightingale armor causes Guards to sometimes say "Your armor looks like it's forged out of Midnight," or something along those lines. Does this Nightingale armor set also do that?
Hello, I'm sorry but I can't find the armor anywhere, I'm 60 at forging and I have all the ingridients with me. The mod is installed and the plugin enabled. Why can't I see the armor ? where is it supposed to be in the forge menu ? I looked everywhere even on the tanning rack. Thank you for your help
Okay, like I promised, I'd update if I figured the whole thing out. I downloaded Vortex and allowed it to run the mod. It put the mod in one of the folders for Skyrim Special Edition. I enabled the mod through Vortex. When I went into Skyrim, I found that the armor is in the 'Miscellaneous' part of Smithing.

I suggest opening a new save and checking with console commands.

Did you miss that part or were you being sarcastic?
I'm not seeing the ability to forge the armor, either. If I figure out anything, I'll respond here.
I hope this helps with your inquiries.
