    this is an official request to fullfill your stated permissions:

    "If I'm not active anymore and I don't reply to *a public request to either reuse or continue my work, posted here on the Nexus mod thread* within 1 year from the day that the request was posted it means that I'm either dead or retired from modding. If so, the mod is at your disposal."

    You're not active for about one and a half year now. That's why I think it's time to make an official request. As you can see I supported your mod since that time as best as I could. But at some point we have to go one step further.

    In the first place a couple of fixes for known bugs need to be added. After that I would like to further develop your mod. There is always room for improvement. I would prefer a variant in which you give me access to this page so that I can update the mod on the existing page. If that is not possible, I consider creating a completely new page, for instance with the name YASH3. This would be YASH2 plus my fixes, enhancements and additions.

    So, here we are. I ask for permission to use your mod for the purpose stated above.

    Last but not least let me say thank you for your really, really great mod.

      Hope this great mod makes a comeback some day! The pandemic isn't likely to fully end any time soon, so if Hilli1 could take over for at least a while, that would be much appreciated. Whatever works.

      Hey. I'm afraid this is it. Spare time at my disposal is getting shorter by the day. New job, new home, CCIE career, and a virus on top of that are draining all my resources. Long story short, there are almost zero chances that I will be able to get back to work on this mod anytime soon.

      I hereby grant to Hilli1 and to any collaborators of his choice full permissions to create a new mod based off YASH2.

      Hilli1 is allowed to create a completely new mod and a new page as a "fork" of YASH2 and said mod can have any name of his choice, YASH3 included.
      Hilli1 can reuse any assets, scripts and documentation of YASH2, description and articles included.
      Hilli1 is free to alter the original mod vision as he likes without asking for any further permission.

      I resign any rights to the contents of this archive and transfer said rights to Hilli1 and Hilli1 alone:

      The mod looks decent at first glance but for YASH3, I have a few suggestions. For starters, perks can be more interesting. They look a bit vanilla as they are now. Taking inspiration from Requiem in that area wouldn't hurt imo, because it has well-designed perk trees that aren't just 10% more damage/armor. Especially when it comes to logic. Instead of adding carryweight when wearing armor, your armor should encumber you less, because you're more used to wearing it. Remove Green Thumb and add more ingredients from plants by default. You see a plant with 10 flowers but you can only gather 1. What's preventing you from gathering the rest?

      Enemy weaknesses are too extreme, and if they don't have resistances they don't need a weakness unless it can be explained. Why do rieklings and hagravens take 2x damage from swords for example? They are made of flesh and blood and should take the same damage as humans. Rieklings are also weak by default so 2x damage from a sword would only make it too easy. If you insist on keeping the weaknesses to certain weapons, at least lower them to x1.5, and buff the damage of all weapons if you have to. Anything to avoid a big difference in damage where it doesn't make sense. I only hope that creatures like gargoyles will still be challenging even if you beat them with a mace.

      Instead of removing helmets for guards, consider using the helmets from "open faced guard helmets" from the LE nexus. It makes more sense that guards wear helmets to prevent a criminal from knocking them out cold. I'm assuming you removed them because the face masks make them look ridiculous.

      It also needs more compatibility patches. What about Ethereal Elven Overhaul and Racemenu? They are not in the compatibility list.

      The weaknesses are there to encourage the use of different weapon and spell types, and as for your point about rieklings, hagravens and humans - most humans in the game wear armour; something that - in real life - would protect you from sharp slashes. But I agree that rieklings are too weak. In general, the Dragonborn DLC needs looking in to with regards to the levelled lists. LVL 2 Morag Tong assassins with 90 health also come to mind in that regard.

      Long time YASH Lite user on PS4 here, just subscribed to download the PC version on my new gaming rig. I'm already in love with everything I missed so far. This mod basically saved Skyrim for me, never before I felt the true meaning of character progression, from good for nothing to total badass. This is truly an amazing and unbelievably well-made mod. It's sad to see you go though. Thanks to dAb for all the hard work and thanks to Hilli1 for keeping it updated, or for planning to release a new version, whichever will suits him best.

      I just started playing your mod and I'm still only at level 12 but it is absolutely brilliant. I've heard of Requiem before and how it's THE way to experience Skyrim but I really didn't feel like going through the hassle of porting everything over to SSE. So if Requiem is THE way to play Oldrim, YASH is THE way to play SSE. It doesn't just make the game harder (which is optional btw), it completely changes the way you approach things. Normally after 200 saves on a character, I'm at least around level 20-25 with buffed up armor and gear and I've been all across Skyrim and have done tons of quests already. On my first YASH playthrough right now, I'm at the 200 save mark but I'm only level 12, still using steel gear and a steel sword. My magic spells fail sometimes. Whiterun, Riften and Solitude are the only major holds I've been to yet, and the Thieves Guild is the only faction questline I have started so far. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making Skyrim a better experience for all of us and I hope Hilli1 honors you by continuing it.

      Right, to make a big deal out of someone not being active on a mod after two years then when they get the full mod permissions to do whatever they want and do nothing for another 2 years is pitiful.

      Sucks. I tried to DM dAb but he has messaging deactivated. Maybe sometime dAb extends his permissions so I can tweak the numbers mentioned by Taedus and reduce the frequency of high level bandit mages for example.

    DO NOT use Open Cities on Xbox. It breaks loads of things, for instance you can't find the wooden weapons in Whiterun.
    That alone was a really annoying bug. 
    Also it adds odd structures that do not fit the style (IMO) like oblivion gates behind the statue of Talos (also in Whiterun). 

    Be carful with CC(Creation Club) Survival mode since it changes a few things this mod does better, like the price of shrines (5 gold coins with YASH, 100 with CC Survival) it alters recovery of health and stamina(like the recovery rate of my Redguard) it changes racial stats, carry weight and it loads AFTER this mod so it changes many of the balance changes this mod so greatly enhances.
    I DO NOT recommend using CC survival. Instead use Frostfall/campfire if you want that level of immersion (im using those and its much more fun)

    Also I don't use food mods like iNeed because this mod has a very interesting food buff system. Read it in the docs, it's really immersive. 
    I rather eat food that gives me solid buffs often enough to simulate "hunger" than to eat when prompted by a warning like a trained puppy salivating at the sound of a bell.
    Also when you HAVE to eat because iNeeds tells you to, you end up having to log around tons of food and for me it was soups, 25 potato soups in my bags breaks immersion big time. I like eating in town and going out with a few apples in my pack and some dry meat. I know I won't be penalized for not having food, instead I probably get to my destination without buffs, so I'll go in the in and have a nice meal. 

    I can share my LO if people want its small, but basically I could run just with this mod, it's Skyrim but better much better.

    I have 350 health. I have 155 armor

    A random level 25 bandit marauder charged power attack at me with 1H orcish sword
    I die

    No other difficulty mods, no damage scaling mods
    Difficulty is adept

    Looks at the creation kit.

    Bandit level 25 has 2.5x multiplied damage with 1H weapons, 1.75x with 2H, and 1.5x with Bow
    It's Vanilla feature that disrupts the goddamn balance

    Told you dab. Your mod is UNFAIR.
    If the enemy has 2.5x damage why do you write something like this.

    Never, ever affect the player with something that will NOT affect the NPCs. Never. If your Khajiit character runs fast it's because ALL Khajiit in the game run fast

    And this

    Don't disrupt the vanilla mechanics: improve them.

    But you're so stuck in your vision of splendor, magnificence, grandeur and whatever stems from your ambitious desire : that you want your overhaul to be #1 best with 100 million downloads.
    To the point that you blocked me years ago from pointing it out.
    That's why despite your efforts, it can't surpass Requiem - you can't accept critics.

    Block this one too, I don't care.

      No - and stop being a keyboard warrior, I beat Requiem on permadeath and not being paid a dime for it so I see no reason to brag about it ?

      If a mod includes features that contradict it's description, people who download it have every right to complain about it. True, no mod has to suit anyone's expectations. The author can do whatever he/she likes, as long as it is described clearly and honestly, so that people can know what they will get when they add it to their mod list. Simple. Even for someone like you.

      Not sure having different damage stats would count as what you quote from description. To me, that description read as npcs won't mechanically work different than player. Something like: let's say for example npcs can knock down player, while player can't knock down npcs or player can bleed from injuries, but npc can't etc.. Meaning, there would be mechanics that would be in place just to work against player, but not npcs. Changing stats so bandit hits harder than vanilla or even harder than player (and it's adept difficulty so it's expected that stats wouldn't be the same) is not what I'd consider that it's "affecting player with something that will not affect npc". They just hit differently. And looks like mod author wanted bandits to hit the way they hit on adept difficulty.

The richest gets taxed even less, the poorest gets taxed as if it's robbery. And the president sent whoever criticizes him to gulag

    This mod was a real gem. I played both YASH and YASH2, had so much fun.
    Thar is a real pity it has been discontinued and no one could take it to 2024.

    around what level should the dragur be in bleak falls barrow and the bandits around them? around 2-6 with some like 14 and 34 as deathlords? does that sound right?

    usually when i play theyve always been 10-20-50 ish SO i dont know if i fixed something or broke something lol

    I'm not sure why, but I keep getting an error message whenever I try to create the YASHed Patch. I get through parts 1 and 2 just fine but at 3 when I'm supposed to add the UAP it gives me an error. I've double checked and I'm following the guide exactly as it should be. This started to happen only recently, I'm not sure if there's a mod that's somehow causing this or if there's something else going on. I'm hoping Hilli1 could see this and offer me some help.

      Well, script 3 ist the one that adds the Unified Actors Perk to NPC's if they don't have it. What is the exact error message you get?

      The exact error log reads as follows:

      I tried looking for "0DB513C2" in xEdit, but came up with nothing. Also, I'm following your exact instructions which I found on comment page 3 and have been going by them so far without issues.

      What is the mod you have in spot 0D?

      Check if you actually followed this little tutorial exactly:

      1. Run YASHed Patch - 1 - Filter by NPC Template

      2. YASHed Patch - 2 - Generate Patch script
      Generates a YASHed Patch by copying as override all NPC that lack a template. Select all ESP except YASH, USSEP and the official ESMs. Then apply this script to all of them. Name the patch YASHed Patch.esp and confirm adding Masters when asked to. Personally I save and exit SSEEdit at this point, because sometimes errors will show up when running script 3 when not to do so.

      When you say that script 1 and 2 run correctly you will have created a YASHed Patch.esp. Do you have this?
      If yes, when you open the file with SSEEdit there will be many Non Player Characters in it. Do you see them?

      Yes, I have followed the tutorial exactly. I even regenerated the patch today just in case, to no avail. The mod in 0D looks to be Armoury of Tamriel Integration.esp, but I've had it for a year or two now. Can't possibly be the culprit, can it? Oh, and to your final two questions, yes to both, I have the YASHed Patch.esp and it is filled with Actor records.

      OK, I tested Armoury of Tamriel Integration.esp. It works without problems. I don't really have any idea what your problem is. I am afraid I need to check your YASHed Patch.esp. Can you send me the file somehow? The easiest way is via discord. My Id is #0821. Or upload it to MEGA and send me the link or use Firefox Send.

      I consistently run into this problem with that script because it can't properly find the FormID for YASH2_PerkUAP in my load order. What I do to fix is:

      • I load my entire load order in xEdit and find YASH2_PerkUAP in the Perk section and write down the FormID (I believe that the first 2 digits of this changes based on your load order).
      • I open up "YASHed Patch - 3 - Add UAP.pas" in my text editor and I edit the lines that define UAPFormID and UAPFullRecord (somewhere around line 50) to insert the exact EditorID instead of using the IntToHex function. Note: the last 6 digits of your FormID should match what is already in the script.
      • After I save these changes, I rerun the script and it works fine.?

      Yeah: those aren't the Nords of previous Elder Scrolls lore. Like everything else, Bethesderp retconned Nord lore to be bland and stupid.

    Hello, got an issue using that mod and survival from AE... I tried using your Survival patch but it doesn't change anything, when I eat food my stamina bar is still red, can't even do anything :/

    I had the wrong version due to downloading a collection W_W
    Edited to fast, no clue why it worked once maybe yash was desactivated when it did cos I'm back to stuck with a red bar when it's activated :/
