    Im having some problems with this mod. According to the description it should put a copy of the firmament on the cell of alternate start, but it doesnt have one there

    Just a suggestion in case you want to consider making this (I don't think it exists, or I couldn't find a mod that does this): instead of having a book with all the standing stones signs available right from the start, it would be interesting if we could pick up a book (a custom new one I mean) that adds the new signs to its list of available signs as we discover them, that way you can carry the book with you on your travels and eventually unlock all the signs, but you have to actually 'discover' each of them first.

    I understand if you don't like the idea or don't want to do it, since it clearly is a different scope from your mod, even if it sounds similar.

    Still, nice idea for a mod you have here, cheers.

    For some reason, this seems to conflict with both Missives and Simply Rest (or Sleep) Anywhere... I can't explain why or how, but the menu doesn't show up if either of those is installed.

      i can confirm missives conflicts 100% with this. you can open the book but it just won't give you the options menu.  I disabled only missives (w/o any other changes at aall) and voila it works again.

      Well, i have missives as well and it does work for me. Do you have the choose your sign esp loaded after missives?

    It work, it still work, and it even work with Constellations - A Standing Stones Improvement (SkyRem Standing Stones) which is a f*ck tons of good point !

    I'm just (a tiny) bit annoyed because I can't disactivate the CYSDisableAfterStart variable :s As I got at least two characters who're already running around in the (not so) big world, and as I'm using Proteus (which mean more new characters every game that don't go to the prison cell), it's kind of a necessary update to not require to tp to every stone every time I want some change.

    In which mod file do this update need to be done ? I tried one of the script file (only one with this line already in it), but as I know pretty much nothing about it, it was a random try and it didn't work. Should I had done this with xEdit instead ?
    (I will paste it in console for now, but to be able to update it once and forget about it would be really good :p)

    For those adding this after the intro, what's the ID of the added book? I want the flexibility of changing stones w/o having to travel.
    [EDIT] Ah. Didn't realize it'd be any copy of "The Firmament". Thought it was a unique version made for this mod.

    Excellent addition for immersion. I was using it on a previous playthrough but have now started a new one where I ran into a problem. It seems that, if used with the mod Dead Diary, the list of stones does not appear. The book interface shows up, but the list is invisible and you cannot pick a standing stone power. Just thought I'd let anyone thinking about using them together.
  8. So the description says we can only use it to change Standing Stone signs while in Helgen during the tutorial.
    Is that right?
    What record would one need to change in the plugin via SSEedit to have it function at all times?

    Hi there!
    I didn't have any message for choose a sign when a read a book called "The Firnament".
    This mod work with only two books placed at spots mentionned in the description topic? Or is just because i install "Skyrim Unbound" instead of "Alternate Start" ?
    Moreover, i don't have any MCM menu to configurate anything. I hope this feedback will be usefull.

      The correct messages will display regardless of whether you modded them. My script gets them the same way the vanilla script does.
