I'd personally love to see a version of this mod with the toxicity script inverted -- a higher quality potion would have had its toxic elements filtered out, while cheaper potions are made with less care and as a result are much more toxic. The addiction aspects of the mod could stay the same, with higher quality "drugs" of course being purer and more addictive.
This would lead to the use of alchemical substances being a constant balancing act, rather than eventually reaching a point in your own skill where you don't even really have to think twice about either toxicity or addiction.
Any chance to add visual effects using racemenu overlays? like the witcher 3... when your toxicity is higher than some value, the overlay opacity increases with the toxiticy level
seeing how the mod has not been updated in years, a fix for this is doubtful. shame really, been looking for a good mod that will punish potion spamming
Hold on now, the description says if I become addicted and I get my toxicity or whatever back to 100% I return to the euphoria stage. That didn't happen. I am literally dying right now smashing potions trying to get my meters to regenerate. I mean I might as well just sleep for a week to clean things out if that's how it's going to work. I agree with the person below that the 2nd stage of addiction should be the last, as not having any kind of regeneration is the most debilitating.
Combined with all of my other make-the-game-damn-near-impossible mods, I'm basically just playing a hotel room simulator trying to fend off stress, frostbite, starvation, addiction, and injuries lmao
Interesting mod it seems. I just tend to play werewolves, liches and vampires a lot os how does the toxicity interact with a 100% resistance to poison? It just disable the feature?
Man, I must be a sucker for realism punishment with all the realism mods I have. I won't be able to even leave Helgen before becoming an addict and suffering withdrawal. lol!
Love the idea of the mod. Hate the mod in practice.
It 100% works as intended but it feels more like an annoyance than immersive. Once your addicted the most practical thing to do is keep sleeping until it wears off, which is just staring at menus until its over. Playing while addicted isn't an option. When your stamina isn't recovering at all, your only option is to deal with that and you'll want to do so in the most efficient way possible: Chain sleeping. The reduced skill points I can deal with as that just makes things a little harder. No stamina makes many things plain impossible. That should be adjusted or at least moved to Stage 4 as, IMO, it's the most serious of the debuffs but one of the earliest you get.

(No survival)
In my game, every time you sleep, the NPCs get stronger, lol.
(Significantly more impactful than Survival Fatigue System)
So I will have to limit the use of medical care and splint kits
Which isn't going to be that easy.
This should add a bit more stress, I love it
Thanks
