For reasons I could not resolve (best guess is an issue with mod-made gear that gets enchanted) I had to re-equip everything upon loading a save.
This mod of yours is gods-sent! Thank you so much, this has made my Skyrim game experience a lot better!

I modified your script to work on every game load for my private use. So it just fixes all the player AV related bugs including enchantment things.
PS: It'd be great if I or you upload this file. And it works gorgeously with popping up a debug message on the start. (re-equipping gets done while people click the message like "Game Loaded")

Hm, it seems the mod has stopped workinh with the latest SKSE update. I don't get an error on startup but aside some clicking sounds, the mod does nothing.

This is an absolute must have for anyone using anything like Amorous Adventures or any of the LL mods. Those mods "re-equip" your gear, but not properly. This is the only mod I've found that actually re-equips your gear so that the enchantments are reactivated.

So your using a script to reequip item in order to bypass a bug cause by equipping items with a script...How exactly is this supposed to help???

The bug is cause by Vanilla Papyrus, Im using SKSE functions which do not have the same bug.

Wow, and I thought EquipItemEx was a useless function. Looks like I have some scripts to rewrite!

I'm new to writing mods for Skyrim but I was surprised when i stumbled upon a working solution. I'm glad i was able to help in a small way :)

So essentially, this means that that issue which occurs with mods such Chesko's Campfire would've been circumvented had it used SKSE functions instead of Papyrus functions. Was this something that got added to SKSE in recent updates?

I think the function has worked that way all along. It just doesn't seem to documented anywhere.
It seem to be kind of tricky to get this set up to have EquipItemEx equip a specific item though; you would need to have a variable that points to that ObjectReference (NOT the base item!!!) on your script. Simplest way would probably be to use OnObjectUnequipped events to catch the ObjectReference and store the ones your interested in that way. But that would only work it the item that was unequipped was already persistent...

Otherwise you would have to use the base item and you would just be equipping whatever item was last added to the inventory.

Correct! That's why this mod in particular was easy, all i had to do is cycle through all the slots, grabbing the form equipping it and immediately equipping it again.
I more or less stumbled on this solution experimenting with what I found on the creation kit website.

This is extremely convenient for folks who use mods like Undress for Bed; every time you wake, you have to re-equip each piece of armor and weaponry individually to regain the enchantment. This mod is just the time-saver I've been looking for. Thanks!
