BUG REPORTS To properly determine if your issue is RWT related: 1) Load the game with nothing but the vanilla plugins, unofficial patch, and RWT. 2) COC into the game (don't load a save because that could be the issue too) and travel to the problem area. 3) Check to see if the issue remains.
This is exactly how we test reported issues. If the issue is resolved, it's a problem on your end. DON'T post a bug report, you'll only be wasting our time! If you require help for these issues, post here in the POSTS section.
CLEANING Do not run the meshes through NIF Optimizer! Doing so will break them.

Just popping in to say that we will be completing an update soon that will mostly, if not completely, be for addressing the Bug Reports. If you've ran into something, check FAQs and current Reports, and if the issues hasn't been addressed please submit it for review. Since it's a fairly common occurrence, keep in mind that RWT doesn't touch 99% of the cells associated with rivers so missing river water is 99% of the time going to be a cell cache issue or issue with another mod!
As reflected in our release schedule, RWT is considered complete (for now) and mostly bug free, which took years to achieve. This means we don't release often and mainly release to address Bugs that have been reported over time.
This is gonna be an ignorant question, because I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I want to use this mod with the Community Shaders plugin - Water Parallax. It says it doesn't work on water mods with flow maps, and also only ones with water parallax textures. So does this mod have parallax textures, and does it use flow maps?
If it helps, we are also ignorant until we go and look up what X mod does and the author is saying. I'd say you're normal.
On that mod... it says it doesn't affect flow maps. The base game has flow maps, and they are textures (one per game area/cell) that control the direction and speed of some water types - e.g rivers. So, that mod simply won't add any depth to water that has this flow enabled.
RWT actually fine tunes and also pairs back the flow in areas that don't make sense. This means you will have more areas that have more depth to the water with with RWT and that mod combined.
Hello, I think I have atexture bug when I use your mod with this one: The island The sea water around the island is purple, flat and textureless. When I turn off RW2 the water works fine again. I tried to solve this problem as best I could, putting your mod at the last position, reading most of the posts talking about water texture issues... But I can't do anything. I also point out that English is not my native language and that I may misunderstand, or miss the solution. Thanks to those who took the time to help me.
I looked at the plugin from that mod. There doesn't seem to be any issues between RWT and that mod. It uses DefaultWater, just like the vanilla game. RWT changes this water, but none of the changes would cause that issue. Purple means you're usually missing a texture, so ensure RWT textures aren't being overwritten.
When making my merged patch, which water record should I carry forward if RW2 hasn't touched a particular worldspace cell? Do you use Skyrim.esm or Update.esm as your baseline for making the mod?
Is it possible to drown my world? I saw a couple posts about some conflicts with Open Cities. I was wondering if this mod had something that I can adjust to make it that way?
You mean cover the world in water? Just change Tamriel's default water height to something higher in xEdit. There are mods available that tell you your current height in the game world, if you need values.
Hello everybody. Is there a way to fix this borderline on the water? The plugin order is correct, as mentioned in the description. Tried disabling everything else. Is it some sort of unfixable thing tied to the game engine?
You can try this from the FAQs: This is caused by Screen Space Reflections (SSR). The only known workaround for the line on the water is to set the following in your Skyrim.INI. Values between 0.3 and 0.5 have been reported to work to remove or reduce the line:
