Any mods that change armor records like Waccf and Frostfall will require a Patch. any armor that is added to the game will also require a patch.
All Vampire and werewolf Mods will require a Patch.
How to make an armor patch:
Make sure the armor mod you want to patch for is installed and deployed.
Open SSEDIT or Zedit
In the Armor Addons section of your chosen mod, find the armor record you wish to patch. for example: Skyrim.esm -> Armor Addons -> Circlet06ArgonianAA
Right click on the Armor record and choose "copy as Override into"
in the pop-up don't choose any other esp or esm. scroll to the bottom and choose to make a new ESP or ESL.
you can name this new ESP anything you want, but make sure the name at least tells you what it does.
go to the new Esp or ESL and select the only record in it.
scroll down in the right panel until you reach the "Additional Races" section at the bottom of the record.
make a new record. it should look like this: NULL - Null Reference [00000000]
double click the new record and change it to: VonunDovRace "Vonun Dov"
repeat step 6
change the new record to: VonunDovRaceVampire "Vonun Dov"
That is all there is to it. It is very simple, but also very tedious when doing large amounts of records. this is why I recommend using this Xedit Script, it makes it much easier: Automation Tools for TES5Edit?
Is anyone else having issues with the player body loading properly? During both the new game and mid-game race menus, the only part of the Vonun Dov body that loads is the head, where the body is a Nord's except the hands which don't exist at all.
it seems to be racecompatibility. i set up the race according to the guides and it should have worked. Probably best to revert back to the previous version.
alright went through the esps and all the masters are correct, cleaned the masters and nothing changed. Are you choosing the right options in the FOmod?
just remembered I was playing on 2.0.6 as I was having some issues with getting 2.1.0 to work, could that be causing it?
as for the patch, I have no experience with modding in any capacity, and the small times I have tried it gave me a headache, so I honestly dont want to mess with it lol

I am curious, is it safe to go to the newer versions of the mod while on the same save? or would I have to reset and get back to where I am (just got to the greybeards, not that far, but would be nice to not need to redo)
update, tried switching to the newer version, got a FOMOD error and the mod was unable to fully install, 2.0.6 seems to work still so will be using that ig
well, I cant get the Racecompatibiliy mod to work with armors for my race, so i just edited the Records directly witch is why there is a need for a patch. if one doesn't make the patch armors wont show if other mods overwrite my changes or my changes will overwrite their changes. also, gonna checkl the fomod real quick

So for some reason I am no longer able to edit scenes. i can view them but not edit them, which means until i can find a way to resolve this issue the quest will be on hiatus. i am unable to find any helpful info online, all they say is disable antivirus which i have. and something about a faulty .dll plugin but the ck isnt giving me any error messages about that. this is frustrating.
Update: I am at my wits end. I have done everything. Reinstalled Creation kit three times. downgraded to version 1.5 i even took off Ck fixes entirely and yet STILL i cant edit the Damn scenes. looks like i may just have to scrap the quest entirely unless someone who is more knowledgable can figure out what i am doing wrong...
How would I change the green tint on the body to a black tint? I'm trying to make a Daedra-worshipping Dragonkin and the green body tint is severely hindering it. None of the racemenu options are allowing me to reach this goal, so I'm thinking I'd have to alter the textures themselves.

G'day, Arkian! I came across your Mod and decided to try it out, but I can't seem to start it. How do I do that? I have a feeling that if I advance far enough in the College of Winterhold, I might cause the Quest to start, but I don't know for sure.
Hi, so for the quest I also haven't been able to get it to start. I tried many different ways, but none worked, might be doing it wrong but I have no scripting or programming background to know where i am going wrong. this means it is right now merely a showcase of the Island until i can figure it out. hence why it in optional section. Hmm... probably should put this in the file description.
Aw, man! While that is unfortunate that the Quest can't be started right now, I have high hopes that either you, myself or anyone else can try and get a fix. All the best with all endeavors, both current and future!
I've used this mod in the past and was looking forward to running this new version, but then I noticed as I checked for missing dependencies in my mod manager that this new version requires several of the Creation Club addons that come with Anniversary Edition.
It's no biggie, I have an AE copy from GoG and can just copy/paste the CC content over to 1.5.97 which I'm using, but the point is that these things should have been listed in the Requirements tab for your mod and they aren't.
Also, is BethINI really required for the quest or is that an optional thing?

as for the quest previously I used a mod that unlocked the borders, but beth ini is less intrusive and saves on load order space.
