    I really love the look of this mod. this is the only mod that pleases my eye all around skyrim. But somehow it shimmers a looooot making it unusable at the moment, I would really really love to fix it... I'm using silent horizon enb, dolomite weather, and tons of graphical modes. Not sure what's the cause of the flickering. The further the more flickering, the grass right in front of me does not flicker but even a few inches away flickers very visibly and disturbingly.

    I checked the texture folder, it appears that most of the textures are messed up. Here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/v25Filk. It's like pixelated, noisy, distorted versions of the actual texture. I tried redownloading, the files are the same. Is this how the textures are supposed to look? or is it something wrong with my download?

      you could download any grass mod like SFO or the original Verdant, then you install only the meshes and esp from this mod to get a better render in-game.

      I have flickering too. With my setup it is caused by the dof of the enb.

      WIth this I get same problem as with Verdant: lot of streets (i.e. before Witherun at stable) have greats parts with BIG grass on it. How to remove grass on streets?

      Dreifels have you tried "Landscape Fixes for Grass Mods"? It generally sorts stuff like that.

    Is this identical to Verdant, but with shorter blades of grass?

    Even with density set to 75 in skyrim.ini I'm still getting 10 less fps than normal, full density verdant.

    Is this still killing people's FPS? How does this compare to the regular verdant/the 1k version?

      its killing fps more than verdant 1k, i tried iMinGrassSize=80 but my poor gtx970 still can't handle it, i get 40-50fps in the forests (without enb). With verdant 1k i have 60fps all time. It's a shame cuz this grass is prettier, looks more dense but short in same time.

      How does it compare to the oirginal verdant? I don't really care about dropping to 40-50 fps, because I can't even notice that tbh. I'm a console player so I'm used to 30 fps and that seems fine to me, I just got this to be able play a heavily modded skyrim. You're on a 970? I'm on a 1060, so I think it's fairly comparable.

    You didn't fix the water flow data when you ported the mod. I noticed it coincidentally when I was removing grass from the "nograss" textures.

      There is a mod for that. But wouldn't be easier to simply use the meshes and textures from this mod with the latest esp from updated SSE Verdant? Or there are some other changes except for those?

      Hmmm water flow data in grass i had no idea , honestly dont really know what and how is it effecting it but i use this mod after this landscape grass fix mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9005 and after that the water mod of your choosing never had any issue when using in this order.

      Hm, darn I want to use this but it sounds like this mod requires too many plugins that will send me above my limit. With all the landscape patches and waterflow fix.

      Actually, fixing the water flow is easy. It is just an xedit script (Hishy is who I think made the script) to fix the water flow data in the mod. It is a common problem with mods that are ported. Landscape fixes for grass mods usually takes care of the rest for me. Just merge the Landscape fixes for grass mods main plugin together with all of the patches, and wahla, only one plugin.

    Ohh my jesus lord. This is amazing!! I have seen a few screenshots here and there with really fluffy grass, but never knew where it came from.
    Thank you!

    I have a problem though...

    iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15
    iMinGrassSize=55

    was not in my .ini file after installing the mod. It worked 100% because I saw it work, so what I did was to add the imini/imax to the folder under ''grass'' section in the .ini. Problem is, I put it on 55 first, it completely destroyed my FPS (i have a 1070). I dropped from 60 to 20-25. I changed imini to 100, but nothing happened. I couldnt really tell if I got less dense grass or not and the FPS were the same.

    Please, I love this mod and I would love it to work and let me keep at least 50 FPS with this on. I loaded this after FOS as I was told

      I've got a gtx1070 and i'm getting 25-30 fps where i had 55-60, i'm gonna check the ini and install the other patches again, run wryebash, if not i'll have to revert back
