Way to buggy for me to use. Tried to make some clothing, and it made me nearly 3000. Plus i had to use "player.additem" to get the satchel as there is no in-world tailoring bench to create said item. Guess Ars Metallica or some such will have to do... This mod struck my need, to an extend. But not when it's buggy. Skyrim is buggy enough as it is. Lets not have buggy mod. Lets be better than Bethesda :D
So I've gone to Belethor multiple (under statement) times and RR twice to no avail of finding the sacred satchel...I've played to lvl 25 now.. is it worth keeping in my mod list? starting over because im unhappy with some clipping anyways..
SSEEedit: found Tailoring Workbench.esp Expand: found Misc Item and find FormID ClothingPartSatchel (For me [MISC:42000D64] ) ID depending to your load order Player.additem ingame and voila sacred Satchel
Did nobody work out the name/formid for the satchel in question so we may just add one? There are quite a few listed. :)
Well, thanks to GFS4812 I now have my satchel. I still can't find how to create the workbench, however. I even crafted a campfire in case it was in there. I don't see it on the forge or tanning rack (where I added the satchel).
Check the create Item power menu. Takes firewood, linen wraps, and a satchel to make. Honestly that's the hardest part of the mod, finding the first satchel. You can make them on the bench but you need one to make the bench.
edit: After posting I noticed you answered yourself and now I can't delete the comment.
As stated by other comments, there's a "loop" in the mod, I guess that in previous versions there were workbenches added to the game in selected spots, thus enabling you to just go there and make the satchel, and then craft your own table, but as of the current version, that's no longer possible, as there's no tables in the world, resulting in the loop, you need a satchel to make a worktable but you need a worktable to make a satchel.
And I have the solution! Open the plugin in SSEEdit, find the satchel's Constructible Object (COBJ) and change the value in "BNAM - Workbench Keyword" to whatever you want, Forge is "CraftingSmithingForge [KYWD:00088105]" and Tanning Rack is "CraftingTanningRack [KYWD:0007866A]". I recommend creating a custom patch for this, editing the original plugins directly is not a very good idea, this edit is harmless, but in general, it's not a best practice.
I will add my name to those confused by the apparent lack of a more legitimate way to get started with this mod than to create either a workbench or a satchel through the console.
I can't for the life of me get my hands on a satchel, I haven't seen one in Belethor's or Radiant's, and I've been traveling back and forth for about an ingame week now. Can you up the spawn rate or make it a craftable item or something? For the longest time I was looking for "tailor supplies" only to finally craft the tanning rack and see I need a satchel, but now I still can't seem to get one.
Hello, so the description says that you can create satchel via tailor's workbench, but I need a satchel to create the workbench at first place. Belethor nor the shop in Solitude sell satchels, so where am I supposed to get one?

Any clues, please?
Edit: Found it under create item. :)
