Been trying this out and found that when it works its great but had some issues where Weynon stance would put my armour rating from 100 to some 29000 and the weapon damage to -1. If you get hit by this the weapon then goes to -28. Its fixable if you reset but it can get a tad irritating early game :(

    Good porter.

10/10 would F+ck with skyrim again.

This got me back into modding skyrim se.
    Cheers!

This seem like a mod that should be given even more development for even more stances. Maybe even to the point of stance unique animations but that would require a modder skilled in those. For now I am going to test this.

Yeah! I'm not a modder, just a fan of the mod. Since the author of the mod seems to have lost any interest in doing so, but has left the permissions for it wide open, I'm hoping that someone with a greater degree of modding talent than I possess might end up noticing the mod in the shuffle and have a passion enough for it to take it over.

As for new stances... I... might be able to figure that part out? I mean, it'd essentially be copy+pasta'ing and tweaking/changing what needs tweaking/changing for new stances, but it couldn't be *too* hard doing it that way, right?

I suggest you take a look at this video clip here, this suggest that you MAY want to roleplay by choosing a stance most suitable to your weapon. As such a twohanded sword should be faster then a two handed axe or club. The downside would be less ability to force the sword through the heavier armors.

A way to get followers to use stances would be nice as well.

great under-rated mod ! but sadly something is wrong with the file it's undownloadable by nexus manager and even if i try to install it manually it says incomplete. i will wait for other comments to confirm this. thanks for the conversion anyway.

Convert from .rar to zip (i did that with 7zip). For some reason NMM responds better to it, third time this simple conversion solved the problem for me (the other times it was for the Merged Mihail mods).

Its a nice idea i guess but without actual animation changes to combat, skyrims combat retains its joke form of slashing mindlessly against your enemies.

I mean, if you're willing to put in the time, energy and effort to make such happen, then by all means, do be my guest. Until that point, it feels more like you're complaining about the sun being yellow when you wish it was purple.

Glad to hear it! It is a pretty awesome mod! I'm really happy that it works with SSE, and, hopefully, it has a true chance to find the spotlight that it deserves and never quite got with Oldrim. It's really unfortunate that the original author isn't around any longer!

few questions: will my character glow when i use stances from this mod? (like the one in your screenshot)

and will enemies be able to use stances too? because im using combat overhaul mod from 'Wildcat' and perks from 'ordinator', a bit scared that it will do major conflict

      First one!
No, no your character will not glow. The mod doesn't alter anything about your appearance. The pictures are.. flavoured up a little to add visual flare, I do believe!

      Second!
No, enemies will not be able to use the stances. While there *is* another .esp module on the original mod file that would enable such... your reason for being worried is exactly why I'm not going to stress too much about it. Most people are using Ordinator or some other overhaul, thereby introducing a whole host of other conflicts and such that I do not have the technical skills nor prowess to maintain a mod for. All I've done is convert the mod into SSE format; I haven't done or changed anything other than that from the mod author's original work.
