Version 1.3 has been released! Changes: - The adaptation system is now functional, and will properly respond to changes in light. - Many effects have been updated to correspond with the latest version of IAXE2. - Supports VR!
Notes: I haven't tested this much with SE. ENB for VR is still a preliminary release. However, everything seems good so far.
I'm just running a lowly RTX2060 with a Oculus Rift S and this works great!
I know it's a matter of personal taste but i was trying High Fidelty for VR with ELFX, it looked good, has a very warm glow to it and interiors with the hardcore setting from ELFX are DARK and atmospheric af which i love, BUT...
This paired up with LUX... MAN! Light scatters more naturally, it's still dark af (which as an oldscool EverQuest/MMORPG fanatic is a MUST) but it shows the contrasts between lights and shadows way more, and more naturally lights up the scene. Just as an example. In Bleak Falls i noticed a potion by a sconce wasn't visible at all with the former setup, despite the sconce being 2 feet away on the other side of the corridor. With LUX and this, the potion and shelf are lit perfectly, i can just make it out, it doesn't appear to be baked into the shelf either since the shadows behind it give it more depth. The light from the sconce has very defined areas and flickers over the entire mesh flawlessly without bleeding into everything.
TL;DR: Even with a mid setup, this works and looks amazing in VR.
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but if anyone has the issue where it looks like there’s dust on you HMDs lenses or display, it’s the lens filter textures in the enb series folder. Delete them and it goes away.
I’m assuming they’re for some kind of layered dirty lens flare effect that’s not used?
I installed this ENB last night and was doing some testing in doors and outdoors at night, but then today I boot it up and after sleeping in game I go out and I’m seeing dust all over my display! Nooo!
Was legit concerned for a while till I took off my HMD and seen the dust was on my monitor too.
Yes there is, And it IS the ENb, Im trying to figure out how to get rid of this because it's driving me nuts! Does ANYONE know what this option is and how to get rid of it?!
Came across this gem, covers installation and also just happens to show how to remove the lensing if anyone else runs into this issue. https://youtu.be/pat12ycWG7U
having extreme difficulty getting grass lod to match real grass in skyrim vr. it matched without enb and with scenery enb - but scenery with my current setup literally tanked my framerate by more than 20 frames in some cases, while yours is very performant. any idea what settings i could change to get it a little closer? please and thank you.
Anybody getting lots of shimmer especially through the day? Image looks great otherwise. Am using this and contrast adaptive sharpener. If I turn on TAA(which should fix it) the image goes supper blurry so seems it isn't compatible.
